It did cross my mind .................and don't laugh , this could happen......

Paul McCartney on Basski
Ringo on drumski
Pete Townsend on guitarious
Roger Daltry on vocalos.

Imagine all those Who and Beatles songs played in a COMBINED Style

I got a glimpse of what this "group" might sound like today......................I heared "the Kids Are Alright" by the WHO with Beatle overtones.
If you have got this song give it a whirl and see..........

My favourite Led Zeppelin song is 'The Battle of Evermore'. I really love this song. I also like 'Black Dog' and 'Stairway to Heaven.'

At high school (first half of the 70's) we always had local live bands at our school dances who played songs by various bands like Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. It was really good. When disco music took off in the late 70's, it felt a bit lightweight after Led Zeppelin and the others! (Still good, though!)

In which case (great post BTW JS) have a listen to the Scissor Sisters version of a Pink Floyd song......"Comfortably Numb" .

You will have the two genre's combined..................I think their album is good , just a few dodgy lyrics but some really great tracks.

I love the breakdown for Dazed and Confused and Whole Lotta Love...The break on D&C is quite unique..It seems like a beautiful distant whale song communicating to Plant's voice....Very intense but beautiful.

Has anyone heard of John Cox?

Just wondering, he sounds a lot like Robert Plant and some of his tunes have a Zeppelin flavor, he's a great Christian artist.
