The problem with such forced analogies is they most often just don't really hold water that well when you get into details.Quetzalcoatl
Did Quetzalcoatl teach that people should welcome foreigners and love them as if yourself?
Quetzalcoatl
Some think Quetzalcoatl is quixotic.

He taught civilization
perhaps Christianity is quixotic
No other religion that I know of teaches salvation by grace like Christianity does.
What do you think the primary principles/rules/ways of life that support civilization are precisely? It's largely what the bible is about, by the way, you could say. One way of saying it is that we are to become (be transformed to be) so very well civilized that we could enter heaven and live an eternal life in peace with others, without any strife. A world without wars, ever.He taught civilization

At least one religion needs to teach salvation by Grace
While trying to get people to realize there will be a later justice can be helpful, this teaching by itself isn't really convincing or effective enough by itself...some will heed it, but very many will just ignore it...Certainly Karma is an important consideration
Or… the afterlife in other words
That's why Christ came.
I am to some degree yes (at least a few). What makes you bring it up?Are you not aware of the endless teachers through history
What makes you bring it up?
Jesus… does not teach enlightenment
I can say that Jesus teaches an ultimate enlightenment.
True largely, but actually there is much like what many might strive for in an idealized nirvana we can gain here and now from Christ, the "peace beyond understanding". It's for real. I can attest to it.He does not teach the way to nirvana
He does teach the way to heaven
what our soul needs in the best, ultimate way, the best aspect of life/existence,
Buddha was pessimistic about life
