  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've never had anyone's permission to read their journal.

(and by the way UK, I had chickenpox when I was a child. I didn't remember having them either. Got vacinated for them to get married. (one of the requirements for a licence) and was told by my OB doctor later, that chicken pox vaccinations and having the chicken pox as a child will not ensure that you don't contract them again, if it's been a long time. Just so you know. I rarely go to the doctor. I was a human pin cusion for almost a year. Looked like a heroine addict my arms, both of them were so bruised from them taking blood so much. But, if I was concerned about getting the chicken pox...I would make an appointment to see one. I don't know why you haven't yet...but I would. )
