  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is from a feminine point of view. Have you ever heard those songs on the radio where the guy promises to be everything for you? He'll always be there, make you happy, he's the hero you are looking for. Are you looking for your perfect soul mate, that one who truly understands you, who accepts you for you and who will really appreciate your inner beauty? He's the guy who will sweep you off your feet and will love you deeply and passionately and once you've found him you'll be really happy. Are you a believer in fairy tales, hoping for your knight in shining armor?

God put that desire in your heart! Yet you should understand that there is really only one person who can ever fulfill what you are looking for. As Christians we are already living a true fairy tale. There is one who came to our rescue and awakened us from the sleep of death with a kiss to our heart. He really is the one man who understands and loves us completely. Futhermore He will return on a white horse and bring us to His kingdom where we will live happuily ever after.

Many put unreasonable expectations on guys because in reality there is no human being who can reach us like Christ.

In your loneliness and struggles to find your soul mate perhaps it's good to understand what the true missing link really is.
