To keep the Sabbath means more than just attending church on Sabbath, it means becoming holy and living a holy life.

Those who receive the mark of the beast will persecute those who keep God's commandments and will blaspheme God like the beast.

Those who receive the seal of God are patient, keep the commandments and are without guile, they are like the Lamb.

It is interesting how important holiness and character are in final events.

Sanctification is a standard Bible doctrine shared by many denominations, it is certainly not unique to the Adventist church.
