Lord, there are sooo many needs from my Sisters (especially Miss Gabby) and Brothers... I pray that you would accomplish all of them and help my beloved friends find their hearts to be renewed in faith, hope, and love. You know our needs better than we even do, look after us Father. In Jesus' sweet name, Amen.

s to you all! I'm back from my vacation well rested, well praised up for the Lord, and ready to get back in the action. I went to alot of different services on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I celebrated the Sabbath with my Messianic Jewish Pastor, went to Catholic Mass on Saturday evening (it counts for Sunday Mass), and then went to a Mennonite Church for Sunday morning Bible study (on the second chapter of Genesis) and then service! Your heart can't help but be renewed!

The upcoming weeks will be crazy for me. I have alot of final projects coming up, tests that I need to do well on, and big big plans for helping a Pastor out and helping Sean out.

I ask also that my Sisters and Brothers uplift my roommate Kamala, who's Hindu and from India. She's having an arranged marriage on June 1st and she's only met the guy once and talked to him on the phone once. So, naturally with her being such a sweet Lady I worry. I'm not against arranged marriages, but please pray that her marriage would be blessed by our Lord, even if she's not a believer.

Now for tonight... this comes from Joyce Meyer evening devotional. May the Lord bless you as you read through this short passage, may it bring peace and wisdom to your heart, and may you be able to find sense in it. Amen.

Accept God's Great Grace
"But where sin increased and abounded, grace (God's unmerited favor) has surpassed it and increased the more and superabounded. ~Romans 5:20

God conquers evil with good by pouring out His limitless grace upon you so that if you sin, His grace becomes greater than your sin. God's love is the power that forgives your sins, heals your emotional wounds, and mends your broken heart.

Once you realize you are loved by God--- not because of anything you are or anything you have done--- you can quit trying to earn His love and simply receive and enjoy it.

Start by confessing aloud several times a day that God loves you. Speak it out and get comfortable with the thought of it. Bask in His love and let it saturate your soul. Once your heart is filled with the knowledge of God's love you can begin to love Him in return: We love Him because He first loved us.

Ahh how true! Amen amen!! The more we realize how much He loves us, the more we can open our hearts to powerful prayer! It's amazing to see all the wonderful prayers in this thread. I pray that we'll do amazing things for and with the Lord!

Alot of things can be causing the tiredness. Meds, stress from life, having to deal with annoying doctors, illness, etc.

I had to take a mental health day last Tuesday... I knew it meant I had to miss class even though I should have been there, but I really couldn't even get out of bed.

Whatever the reason may be, take it easy and continue getting alot of rest. Also, what seems to help boost up my spirits when I'm sick or going through a depression period is to take a women's multi-vitamin and then a vitamin B complex twice a day. Works great for me and it might help boost up your immune system and metabolism (naturally... like God intended it! ) which can help with the tiredness.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift my precious friends in Christ today asking you to put your loving touch upon their bodies minds and souls.
Lay hands on therm dear Father and allow Your Holy Spirit to walk them thru their new diet regimen and take one day at a time with guidance and protection from you.
Let Victory be ours in making our bodies perfect temples for the Holy Spirit'[s dwelling and a healthy vessel to do thy works and perfect will.

I have a thyroid condition that could be a huge factor in it but not sure. I may ask my dr about what can be done.

Gabbers, I just got off the phone with Mercy and they have eveything they need now so my appt is completed. They will be taking it before the intake committee to decide on my acceptance. It'll take 2 to 3 weeks. Please pray for me!! I am extremely nervous about what their answer will be. Just pray that I get in because as you know I REALLY need this. Thanks!

Father God,
Thank You for these faithful sisters, and for the family I have here! I pray for those dealing with stress above all. This world is so full of it, I pray they are able to deal with it, and able to rest in You when they need to do that. I pray for Your continued presence in all of our lives.

A good morning devotional. It comes from an email I received from the Purpose Driven Life site:

We are teachers of the faith

“Let the words of Christ, in all their richness, live in your hearts and make you wise. Use his words to teach and counsel each other.” (Colossians 3:16a NLT)

Discipleship – We are all teachers of the faith.

We may be good teachers or we may be bad teachers, but we all are teachers. Everyday, hopefully, we model biblical behaviors and respond with Christ-like attitudes.

Teaching involves more than unpacking Bible stories or giving theological insight; we teach when we help one another know how to love a spouse, make wise decisions, keep our thought-life pure, or get out of debt.

The Apostle Paul says we’re to “counsel each other.” That means we should be learners also – listening to other believers as they tell us about God’s work in their lives, and watching one another to see what “Christ in you” looks like in another human being. (Colossians 1:27 NIV)

He says the power of collective spiritual growth occurs when we:

· Let the words of Christ live in our hearts. We must know God’s Word before we can teach it. As we hear, read, study, memorize, and meditate on the words of Christ, we take them into our hearts. This gives us the wisdom we need to help one another grow in godly character. (Romans 15:14b, NCV)

· Use God’s words to teach and counsel each other. The Bible reflects the mind and will of the Father. When you’re carefully stepping along a slippery slope, would you rather consult the wisdom of God, or the wisdom of man?

It’s not enough to merely learn the Word; we must allow it to take root in our hearts so we then can apply it in our lives, holding tight, not relaxing our grip: “Guard it well – your life is at stake!” (Proverbs 4:13, MSG)

So what does this mean to me? Your friends and relations are not an accidental part of your life. (Remember that during the next family reunion!) They are gifts from God. They are the very people God designed to help you grow in Christ-like character. Even if they are not Christians, God can still use them to create Christ-like character in you.

I'm going back to PA today... for another weekend heh. I just love it there I guess and I have an open invitation. (Praise the Lord!) My prayers and thoughts will be with you all. Gabs-- especially you, I always think of you when I'm passing through Staten Island

Yes I know Hun, I have to get over to Staten Island some time and see Miss Gabs. Life gets crazy sometimes and you try to go just go through it punch after punch, which is pretty much what I'm trying to do. Get through this semester and the battle is almost done. But we will eventually get to see each other I PROMISE!!!!

Doing what God is thinking

Ministry/Service – In a land not so far away and a time not too distant, lived a mighty, yet gentle Master of the Manor. There was a servant who worked for the Master, and this servant was a man of excellent efficiency, incorruptible integrity, and joyful heart.

The Master was pleased with his servant, but he also noticed the servant would do things that were well-intentioned, yet not in line with the Master's wishes.

One day the Master was in his library, and he couldn't find one of his favorite books. Looking closely, the Master realized that his entire library had been re-arranged.

"Good servant," called the Master. "Why have you re-arranged the library?"

"Master," the servant replied, "I wanted to provide you with the most efficient catalog system available."

"But I did not ask you to re-arrange the library," the Master lovingly said. "However, I did ask you to prepare the banquet hall for the guests we will receive tonight, and I see that hasn't been done."

"Yes, Master," said the servant. "But I don't see anyone coming up the road, so I assumed the guest weren't actually coming tonight. And you're library is now cross-referenced and categorized according to Humboldt's hierarchy of human thought."

"So I must think like a human in order to find my books?" said the Master.

"Well, yes," said the servant.

"But what if I want you to do things according to my thoughts?" said the Master, a tone of command coming into his voice. "And what if I want you to begin to think like me, instead of the other way around?

Just then, the doorbell rang. The guests had arrived.

You were created to serve God, and one way to serve God is by serving others, offering ministry to others. But it's important that you serve God according to his thoughts and his plans, not your own independent thoughts and plans.

Don't misunderstand: This does not suggest permission to be passive in your service to God. Instead, it's a call to intentionally seek the will of God in our service to him. Rather than making assumptions about where to serve God, you can constantly and consistently talk to him about where he wants you to serve. And in this way, you will develop a mind like Christ's.

We serve at the will of God and not on our fantasies about what Christian service looks like. The service required of me may look very different from the service required of you, because God has shaped us each uniquely and with our own unique purpose in mind. God speaks to you through your shape, your circumstances, your experiences, your friends, and your family.

And he speaks through the Holy Spirit, telling you to prepare for the guests you cannot yet see, instead of rearranging the library that is already organized according to God's design.

So what does this mean to me? If God is in constant conversation with you, are you carefully listening?

· Ask God to help you hear his voice and to tell you how he wants you to serve.
· Ask God to give you discernment so your service always lines up with your will, and not your own human agenda or someone else’s agenda.
· Ask God to fully develop the mind of Christ in you.
