LOL!! I'm just glad someone got a laugh out of the post, and does understand! Parents, and in my case, grandparents, being difficult to deal with is just so much.....ah, well, ya know! Anyhoo, glad to be able to talk with someone about it! Sorry I didn't call like I was suppose to last weekend. Went and made my rounds to visit people, except one person, before going to see the boyfriend in TN. Now I get to run my last errands today, and pack 'course. One thing before I go further.....Oh SHAY....I'm sorry..I laughed at what you posted....you have no idea the things that came out of my mother's mouth when I took her out before she got sick....I SO TOTALLY UNDERSTAND.
I guess some of us have this problem to take care of our ailing parents...it must be something we need to learn...c'mere sweetie. Gabby hugs for you.
Call me this weekend we will talk.
Love you girl

Valuable to God
Read Acts 10:9-35
God shows no partiality.
-Romans 2:11 (NRSV)SOMETIMES I wonder if I matter to God. By the world's standards, I am worth nothing. I don't have a high-paying job; in fact, I am disabled and live in low-rent housing. With a modest, subsidized income, I don't have a big bank account. By society's standards, I would be considered a failure and perhaps an outcast.
However, when I find myself feeling worthless and useless I can turn to Romans 2:11 and read, "God shows no partiality." Meditating on this scripture helps me to realize that regardless of my position in life, I matter to God just as much as anyone else in the world. Our worth to God is not based on race, financial condition, age, sex, or education. We matter to the supreme God, who created us and loved us enough to send Jesus Christ to die for the sins of each one of us. Knowing that, we can respond to feelings of worthlessness by remembering how worthwhile we are to God.
Sheila Hicks (Tennessee, U.S.A.)Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for seeing us as valuable and worthy of your love, no matter what our position in life. Grant us your grace to see others the same way, as we pray, "Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation."* Amen.
We are to respect one another because God respects us.

Praying for travel mercies. Have a good time. :^)Please pray for travel safety for me, as I'm leaving today for a week's vacation and such. And before I go....
Father,
I pray for my family here today. I lift up those needing prayer, and Your care. I pray for those among us that haven't said anything of what they need to. We all need You, and I pray we all know You are always with us.
in Jesus, I pray. Amen
