So what is going to happen here now? I think this place was a blessing to many, I know I wasnt here long but can someone please let me know whats going to happen here? God Bless You GABBY

What's going to happen is that we will carry on as usual...that is what Gabby wants. This place will still continue to be a blessing. We will love one another and pray for one another's needs just like we did before Gabby left. She needs some time for herself right now. So please continue to come and post. God bless you sweetie.

Lord, bless Gabby... I have been so busy in my real life, taking care of my boyfriend and visiting Christian friends, trying to deal with my school stress and everything, I'm sorry I couldn't be there for Gabby more. But I know You'll do amazing things with her life now too... she has good Sisters here to help continue what You started through her, bless our work Father. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Take this post as my official "Yes I'm going to help out with the Lamb's ARC ministry". Because of my efforts that I'm putting forth for the Prayer Team here at CF, I'd like to try to do more of the Biblical devotional support. Prayer is always amazing, but we need to make sure we're full of love and wisdom from the Bible to really get those prayers working. I hope nobody minds me taking this step for the Lamb's ARC. Let's keep this thread going.

*Deep in her heart, she prays.... Lord bring Gabs back after all of this, a stronger Sister and let her be happy in her life, Amen.*

To help prepare ourselves for Passover and Easter, I will be focusing the devotionals on the last week of Jesus' death. I'd ask all of those who visit the Lamb's ARC to review what the Bible teaches about the Passover and how the events of Jesus' death and Resurrection are very similar.

May the Lord bless these words, may they enter into your heart and touch you, may you learn much from them. Amen.

Tati is on Spring Break until next Sunday (Easter). If any of you would like to get together via AIM, YIM, or MSN and chat about the Lamb's ARC and what we would like to do with this ministry, maybe we could pick a date and meet up... have a little prayer session online, and come up with some ideas.

God bless you all!

God bless you, Tati, for doing this!! I'm gonna see if I can add to what you've posted too! (I found something Max Lucado put out that's been a good source for me)

Lord, abba,
Thank You for my sister! I pray for her efforts, and others, to be blessed here. I pray for those that come here as well, for us to be You to them here. I pray for their needs, that they have what they need. I pray for their protection as they follow You.
in Jesus, I pray. Amen

Bless you all who come and visit the Lamb's ARC. All are welcomed, especially during this Passover and Easter season. Today, we remember the Lord being crucified and dieing on the Cross. May we all be blessed who call Him Lord and Savior! Let us join together and pray for one another and for those who are still lost and do not know the Lord.

I pray that these words will speak to our hearts... Lord bless us and keep us during this Easter season. Amen.

First, a small poem by Isaac Watts...

The Wondrous Cross

When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince of Glory died, My richest gain I count but loss, And pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, Save in the death of Christ my God! All the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to His blood.

See from His head, His hands, His feet, Sorrow and love flow mingled down! Did ever such ove and sorrow meet, Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

Now a devotion talking about the truth found in the Crucifixion. Lord, place these words on our hearts and in my minds... may we be blessed with peace, hope, and with renewed faith. Amen.

Crucifixion Means...
By Karen Mains
(From His Passion: Christ's Journey to the Resurrection Integrity Publications, 2004)

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved and gave Himself for me. ~Galatians 2:20 NIV

Studying the Crucifixion accounts in the gospel has become a way for me to keep vigilance over my soul during times of fearful destruction. Exercising a blind sort of faith, I have chosen to trust that eventually something new and remarkable would be rebuilt by God...

This is my litany of learning:
Crucifixion means being betrayed by people who are trusted, being abandoned by those most counted on and loved.

This was what it was like for you, Lord Christ. Help me, like you, to submit to the meaning of this pain.

Crucifixion means being pinioned to pain that lasts long enough to do the work of God only this kind of suffering is able to do.

This was what it was like for you, Lord Christ. Help me, like you, to submit to the meaning of this pain.

Crucifixion means feeling a silence on the part of God that makes it seem as though He is not present, as though, indeed, He has abandoned us.

This was what it was like for you, Lord Christ. Help me, like you, to submit to the meaning of this pain.

Crucifixion means being stripped of all those things we hold dear and from which we gain our identity, being stripped to the point of nakedness.

This was what it was like for you, Lord Christ. Help me, like you, to submit to the meaning of this pain.

Crucifixion means enduring a period of bruising, beating, and battering, to which we bow with our own silence and acceptance.

This was what it was like for you, Lord Christ. Help me, like you, to submit to the meaning of this pain.

Crucifixion means entering into a profound aloneness; people can stand beside us, but they cannot truly experience our suffering.

This was what it was like for you, Lord Christ. Help me, like you, to submit to the meaning of this pain.

Crucifixion means undergoing a gathering of powers of darkness against us, and in our frailty being unsure of the ultimate outcome.

This was what it was like for you, Lord Christ. Help me, like you, to submit to the meaning of this pain.

Amen... amen.

My wonderful friend Melody recommended this place to me when I first joined CF. I popped in a couple of times when life allowed. Many things have been going on here that have kept me from being online much. I hope this place is always here. I have enjoyed the closeness and the prayers here. I think gayle would want it this way so that when the time is right she may come flooding in through that door way. I wish I had known gayle. She sounds like a wonderful woman who reallycares and needs all our support and prayers. I think it would be an honor to know her in real life. I look forward to the day when we all meet. what a joyous day that will be.
hugs
