But both Jesus and His disciples desired that His followers wouldn't believe merely in His Godhead and miracles (as if He hadn't also taken on human nature and assumed the human flesh...), but that they would also see that He had descended into human nature and into the midst of human miseries.
He assumed a human soul and body. From him there egan the union of the divine with the human nature, in order that the human, by communion with the divine, might rise to be divine... Everyone who lives according to Jesus' teaching rises to a friendship with God and communion with Him.

Right with you on that prayer. It is always good to pray for our friends, loved ones, the lost. Happy EasterBless you all who come and visit the Lamb's ARC. All are welcomed, especially during this Passover and Easter season. Today, we remember the Lord being crucified and dieing on the Cross. May we all be blessed who call Him Lord and Savior! Let us join together and pray for one another and for those who are still lost and do not know the Lord.
I pray that these words will speak to our hearts... Lord bless us and keep us during this Easter season. Amen.

Studying the Crucifixion accounts in the gospel has become a way for me to keep vigilance over my soul during times of fearful destruction. Exercising a blind sort of faith, I have chosen to trust that eventually something new and remarkable would be rebuilt by God...
This is my litany of learning:
Crucifixion means being betrayed by people who are trusted, being abandoned by those most counted on and loved.
This was what it was like for you, Lord Christ. Help me, like you, to submit to the meaning of this pain.
Crucifixion means being pinioned to pain that lasts long enough to do the work of God only this kind of suffering is able to do.

Crucifixion means feeling a silence on the part of God that makes it seem as though He is not present, as though, indeed, He has abandoned us.

Just got off the phone long distance with my oldest brother...my mom is in the hospital.
Really don't know how bad she is; and they won't let anyone call in or see her he says, because of the privacy act.
I have to go soon.
Please pray for all aspects involved.
1) money
2) time
3) that my children will be okay with their dads while I am gone
4) that she makes it 'til I get there
5) that my brother does the right things...that is a long story...btwn. him and God basically.
She is saved. That is my consolation; we will be reunited in heaven. I have not seen her for 7 years now.

My wonderful friend Melody recommended this place to me when I first joined CF. I popped in a couple of times when life allowed. Many things have been going on here that have kept me from being online much. I hope this place is always here. I have enjoyed the closeness and the prayers here. I think gayle would want it this way so that when the time is right she may come flooding in through that door way. I wish I had known gayle. She sounds like a wonderful woman who reallycares and needs all our support and prayers. I think it would be an honor to know her in real life. I look forward to the day when we all meet. what a joyous day that will be.Gayle asked me to pass this on to all of you ...she is not talking directly to you she is talking through me because she needs time right now.
She said that if you love someone and really care about them and they make a mark in your life ...you do not forget them or get angry at their decision to take care of themselves. For eight months she has made this place her home ...it has had ups and downs but has given her a life with those she loves dearly so much that her heart is scattered across the US and the world. She feels that though this place got her through the past eight months that she took too much from some, draining them completely and gave so much to others that she is left totally empty. She knows she has a ministry here but she has no connections anymore in the real world. Most of you she said have families, children, husbands...she takes care of a mom who never tended to her needs when she was young and whose needs she now has to tend to. She has a sister who totally drains her because she can only take because she has ADD. She has two or 3 close friends but the relationships have changed due to her beliefs and in desperation she has sought to make all of you her family. Not being able to talk to you and see you kills her inside...she needs real people to hold and connect to. She still wants you in her life...but not a cyber life...because she has replaced real life and connections with those on a computer and she is dying inside.
Does she love you all desperately...YES ...does she miss you all with all her heart..YES...is this healthy for her...she feels right now ...NO. An incident convinced her she has put her needs before those of others and she has to gain footing and the proper focus to find her way back to GOD and what He has in store for her.
So there you have it. Will she be back... when she feels she has renewed her strength and has done the things God needs her to do. But she can't and won't say when because she does not know. She is in the midst of a prayer vigil for a dear friend and wants to concentrate on that. She is starting two ministries on the home front from church and one needs her to clear her mind and study more.
She asked that if you really feel she has touched your life and has done good in it...not of her own accord but of her Heavenly Fathers that you will keep this place alive with love and memories of things you all shared. And you will continue to make it a place of hope and support for others.
She wishes to pass the torch on to some of you to run this place and it is your choice out of caring for her ...and your hearts leading to accept it.
She will not be angry if you do not...it is not an order it is a request...but she believes she knows who has the creativity, and who is here a lot and will not feel it as a burden but as a gift that she has passed on because of what you shared together. God has placed on her heart some of you to hand the torch to. I am one of those people, and I have accepted her offer.And hope many of you will join me.
It will involve running it on a daily basis or as much time you can put into it but there are enough people to share the responsibility with, seeing to the prayer warriors in the Lambs ARC and continuing with posting prayer and a prayer circle if you feel led.
"Everything has a season" God is calling her elsewhere right now and she needs to heal...and grow and she needs your prayers right now.
