I know what you mean about feeling discouraged about CF. It seems a lot of people are. The only posts I find enjoyable nowadays are the friendship posts. Everything else seems to foster negativity. I'm starting to look around for other forums - found one I joined (faithforum.eu), but its much smaller. Its a different atmosphere though, and not quite as sophisticated techologically. Can't tell yet if I'll like it enough to stay. I'll continue to post here at the friendship sites. As Cindy said, hopefully you haven't encountered negativity here?
I too, would love to hear inspirational words from Joyce Meyer or any others.

THINGS THAT EVERY GIRL SHOULD KNOW:
1) You don't have to be thin to be beautiful
2) You don't need a boyfriend to feel loved
3) You don't need jewelery to feel beautiful
4) Smile- let God's joy shine thru you. That will make you beautiful enough.
5) Don't diet. Exercise, drink plenty of water, eat wholesomely. You ll be beautiful that way.
6) Don't think that just because you don't have a boyfriend, you are not beautiful.
7) There is no such thing as an ugly-looking girl. But a girl can act ugly and so look ugly.
8) You don't need to have a size 24 waist. Don't believe what the media says. It's all rubbish.
9) There is no such thing as an ideal weight. If you have a BMI of 18.5, good for you. If you don't, it doesnt' matter. Just make sure that you
eat sufficiently, and not excessively.
10) When steps five and nine are already done, and you still do not like the number you see on your weighing scale, don't weigh yourself. Trust me. It does not make you any lighter. It does not make you any happier.
11) When you walk, pull your shoulders back and chin up. Wear light make up if it makes you feel more confident. Heels aren't necessary. Trust me. They are bad for your feet.
12) Go shopping if you like. It's therapeutic. But don't go excessive. Moderation is key.
13) When you speak to someone, look at them in the eye and smile warmly. That includes boys. Don't be shy or intimidated by them.They will appreciate you for your confidence.
14) Don't smoke. Don't do drugs. Don't do anything that may harm you. You are too precious for that. I repeat: you are too precious for that.
15) Cellulite? Well, scientifically, it is impossible to be cellulite-free. Don't look at pictures of girls in magazines. They are air brushed and altered to perfection. Don't look at them, i repeat- DONT look at them.
16) Look into the mirror each day and see how beautiful you are. When you see pimples one morning, don't touch it! Wash your face regularly. Sleep well, drink lots of water, and exercise! fruits and vegetables are a must as well. Then your pimples will reduce in size and in number following the proper lifestyle.
17) It is alright to pamper yourself once in awhile. It really is. When you feel stressed out, and feel like crying, just cry. It is very calming. God is close to the crushed in spirit.
18) When you see a beautiful looking
girl walking past the window, say "wow", not "ugh". She may look more beautiful than you are, but don't get all upset. There are many versions of beauty in this world, and you belong to one of them. She belongs to another.
19) Remember that you don't have to think the way magazines think. Long legged beauties are beautiful, but petite beauties are equally irresistable. Models are long legged because they look good on runways. But remember that they are only chosen for runways, not health advertisements. Ever wondered why?
20) Short hair is cute, not just long hair.
darn it im so sorry i have to dump all my negativity here.. i don know whats wrong with me.. and i feel like im disgusted with whatever i do. im so tired of it. i just wish that i am pretty sure of life. and that i can find a big reason to look straight into someone's eyes at least. hanging out with ppl is becoming so draining. i get so scared over meeting ppl, and ppl get scared becos my anxiety is infectious. its so stupid. i dont noe wat to do. plus, im not good at thinking. i dont have any particualr mind of my own. i like ppl to just order me about, then life would be so much easier. i dont noe wat im talking about now.

Im really worried about her. She has diabetes and her sugar levels are out of balance. Her kidneys are not working properly. She went to a specialist yesterday and the diagnosis doesnt look good. The new job is going well so far - it's definitely a learning experience for me. The job is in the superannuation industry which is an industry I've never worked in before. I'm partly enjoying the work although the person training me tends to get stressed very easily which doesn't make the training easy which in turns makes me feel tense - it makes me apprehensive about asking questions or double checking stuff with her. During the week I found myself almost regretting sending my resume in.
Aw, sweetie...first things first...sighhh.. im just feeling so unhappy and i dont noe why.. im so angry at myself, at my mom who tries to run my life still by ordering my aunt to make sure i get lunch or dinner.... i dont noe i just feel SO STUPID and ugly..
I'm going to be point blank with you. The devil attempts to isolate us.i cannot be transparent. i did nothing wrong but i am uncomfortable if all my peers(if that is the right word) are sisters not brothers. i can't even post what is wrong or it will lead to trouble even though i did nothing wrong. im not even able to talk to a lot of guys now. i maybe later will avoid a lot of people for a while and it is not because i hate anybody.
