but how did evanecence lose??/
VERY easily.

I didn't know that Zep was even in this tourny! I didn't come in until sometime in the second round. Believe me, if I knew Zep was in, I would've found a few 'friends' (ie. Different usernames) to vote for Zep over Metallica. I like Metallica, but they are in no way, shape or form ever close to Led Zeppelin. I even like RATM better them Metallica, but I'm not upset about the results of that battle.

This should really be Led Zeppelin VS. Pink Floyd IMO.

BTW, why in the blue heck weren't The Doors in this tourny???

This is actually a really hard choice between U2 and Pink Floyd. Who do I like to listen to more? Who would I rather see live? Which band has done more for music? I think that it's very tight.

Let's see...
There are two stadiums. One across the street from each other. Pink Floyd is in one, U2 is in the other. I have floor tickets to both. Sorry Bono, I'll have to catch you in the next town. You had my vote over the Beatles though...

Rammstein didn't even have a chance..........
Nein, but I'd consider voting for them over Metallica after this fiasco!
I just thought, why wasn't Jimi Hendrix in this tourny? Bob Dylan? Cream(or at least Eric Clapton)? I'll stop now, I'm getting depressed about todays music scene...

Sweet(not the band), UFO just came on my playlist! I love that band.

I think Hendrix and Dylan, and others, got left out because they seem like more of an artist than a band. Although they were in bands, but they were always the main focal point, the people who called the shots.
Cream would have been nice. I'm still upset that the Grateful Dead did not make it in!!!! How about the Eagles? Creedence?

If anyone's unsure how to vote, they should actually listen to the 33 minutes of Under A Blood Red Sky. Preferably the unedited copy they can get from me with a copy of 11 O'clock Tick Tock that hasn't had the life sucked out of it by an idiot who has no clue how to edit right.

Or they could just listen to Popmart Sarajevo. If I knew nothing of U2 or Pink Floyd, I'd vote for U2 just for the performances of Mofo, Please, and Discotheque alone.

Now GO U2! 14-13 to the letter U and number 2 right now. Let's extend this lead and prove what I've already known for a long time!

16-15. I expected that sort of. Both bands are pioneers of sorts, but until I play Dark Side of the Moon in sync with the Wizard of Oz and confirm the rumour I've seen on various websites, it's U2. Just.
So what are you waiting for? I've already done it!

Kristian J - you gotta do it!
Let me know if you need to know when to start the CD. Timing is essential.

I'll give a little hint of what happens - the 2nd time you play the CD, if you get it perfect, the Lion (while singing Im the King of the Forest) perfectly lip synchs the vocals from Great Gig in the Sky. It is surreal.
