Should we fear YHWH like the Muslims do, who do not know His Name, and trample it underfoot at any opportunity they get?

Or should we fear YHWH like the Jews do, who keep His Name in a box, and never read the iconographic meaning?

The foundations of the earth tremble.

Belivers definitely need the fear of the Lord. There are different definitions but it's vital that we have the fear of the Lord. Without it, God can't teach us; therefore, we don't learn His wisdom. This deep respect and reverential fear and awe of the Lord can guide us daily in thought, word and deed. The Bible is filled with some of God's wisdom and we can chose to have the fear of the Lord (Pro 1:29). It's a process.

- "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever." (Psa 111:10, Job 28:28, Pro 1:7, 9:10, 15:33, Isa 33:6)

How to have the fear of the Lord is revealed in Scripture. Note Pro 2. Verse 5 states 'Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God."

Having the fear of the Lord means we love what He loves and hates what He hates (Psa 97:10, Pro 6:16-19),

- We're to teach children to have the fear of the Lord (Psa 34:11).

Had wondered how to marry various Scriptures and "HIM," a CF poster, stated a gem with "There is a fear OF the Lord which He gives us and there is a fear of the Lord where we understand His righteousness and power."

-Can result in "Churches walked in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 9:31).

Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated. It might be perplexing, why God would love one individual and hate another. But once you see the meaning of His Name, it's easy to see why someone would be outside of His Grace.

If we go back to Cain and Abel we have the same situation.

The Stone that builders rejected has become the cornerstone. God is building his kingdom.
The building blocks of that kingdom of what is remains in the end, those things are faith, hope, and love. The greatest of these is love.

To be more precise it is the words of YHWH, but you are right in the overall.
