  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm afraid of detachment as well. I don't like not seeing posts... or having anything to look forward to. If there is no new post in 10 hours, I am going to go ahead and place one myself.

Anyway, I've decided to break my posts down into shorter sections to keep this story moving. But I have a few points I'd like to cover.

I have a big scene planned to happen shortly. It's sunset now, and this scene will occur that night. It's important because everyone outside will see the effects.

So... Don't move story time past midnight.

Also, EB, I encourage you to make use of the two extra PCs you are entitled to. i've got big ideas for this story, and thhe more threads tthere are to weave with, the merrier. But take your time.

So, after I post you guys are unfrozen. Which will be tonight.
