Well here's one thing. What does Jason teach, that you would make such a remark about him?

I am not under the Law, I am in Christ...it is His righteousness that I cleave onto.Yes the renewed , or refreshed Abrahamic Covenant, that we are grafted into, in Christ.
New Covenant, doesn't mean brand new as in different, brother.
The 10 commandments are God's eternal commandments that are for today.
7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Revelation 21:7-8
All liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
Thou shall not bear false witness.
Paul said it this way:
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21
- those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Do you understand what "will not inherit the kingdom of God" means?

He said that Christ has died for our sins according to the scriptures, He was buried and on the third day He rose from the dead according to the scriptures. Is not the Gospel. What does Jason teach, that you would make such a remark about him?

Many say they accept grace but in reality live under the law. They cannot be righteous under the law, but they rely on it to be justified:I am not under the Law, I am in Christ...it is His righteousness that I cleave onto.
James 2:10 for whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11. For He that said, do not commit adultry, said also, do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressors of the Law.
Yet, God for bid that I do sin. I find my righteousness in Christ...not in the Law.
In Christ
Daniel
Yes, this is why God washes us white as snow. He is magnified, He is glorified in the mercy He has shown towards us.Many say they accept grace but in reality live under the law. They cannot be righteous under the law, but they rely on it to be justified:
All who rely on observing the law are under a curse. For it is written: cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the book of the law.
Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because the righteous will live by faith. The law is not based on faith
Gal3:10-12
For if those who live by law are heirs faith has no value and the promise is worthless for law brings wrath
Rom4:14
If faith has no value, you are cut off from grace, for grace comes through faith.
The reason law brings wrath, and you are cursed if you live under it, is because you cannot attain to the pass mark to be righteous under the law. For that pass mark is perfection. 100 percent perfect obedience.
These scriptures correspond to your quoting james2:10
It's all one covenant. It's all the Old Covenant and part of that covenant.
Your cherry picking again. Can't do that with Gods Word. That's why ur understanding is wrong.
You should start using the tools out there to understand God's Word and rightly divide it instead of constantly falling into error. I recommend Biblehub.com. Parallel Bible option. It also includes good commentaries.
I hope Jason realises the measure he uses to judge others will be used to judge himPlease do not insult me by saying I need to study standard Bible resources. Either address my issue with Scripture, and or use a real world example like Jesus did.
God is good and He has a standard of goodness that is eternal.
Jesus said, if you will enter into life, keep the commandments (Matthew 19:17).
From day one, God wanted Adam and Eve to keep some kind of command.
Jesus says if you love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15).
Revelation ends with telling us to keep God's commandments.
Blessed are they that do his commandments for they have the right to the tree of life (Revelation 22:14). Cover to cover, the Bible is telling you to obey and not to disobey.
...
Holiness is eternal. God is Holy. Righteousness and truth are eternal. God's covenant t with New Covenant Christians is not the Old Covenant.
Not sure what Bible you are reading.
Romans 4:13
It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.
To be honest, you really surprise me. You spent 30 years in the SDA, you are finally free from it. This man wants to led you down the same rabbit hole.
Obey God's commandments and you will be righteous before God.
The only way to be righteous before God is by faith in Christ, he is our righteousness.
It's all one covenant. It's all the Old Covenant and part of that covenant.

1 Corinthians 5:5...how was the spirit of that man still saved? The Holy Spirit is NOT going to lead you to disobey any of the old moral commandments. Just because you won't commit murder, just because you are being lead by the Spirit doesn't mean you are UNDER the law. No, you live ABOVE the law. There is a big difference in power.
I thought your post would ignore the reality, and it did. And once again you chose not to answer my question didn't you.
I will ask you a third time.
How many Christians do you know who even try to obey each and every literal command of Christ.
If you are not completely honest, you have followed after the flesh.
And BTW Jason has never claimed himself to obey each and every literal command of Christ. At least he didnt lie.
THATS THE REALITY
It's good to live in the REAL world
Well for example. I haven't stopped inviting friends and family home for a meal, in order to invite the poor, lame, blind and beggars instead. Have you? What command of Jesus do you not keep?
I'm sure you have as that is also what you believe and why we are on the same page. It is just part of me to mention Him every time, but if you feel you are protecting someone from sinning, then do what you are being lead to do.

You've left Christ and Him crucified in the rear view mirror. Without focusing on Christ and Him crucified, you'll end up lost and in the dark.
