Ironically im faced with depression at this moment. Things trigger it, like a comment someone made for example. The worst things are those that remind you of your past.Choosing joy reminds me of David in 1 Samuel 30.
He and his men had just gotten back from a battle only to find that the Amalekites had taken everything including
there wives and children. David's men were ready to stone him.
But David encouraged himself in the LORD and then he and his men went and destroyed the Amalekites and recovered everything.
One of David's worst moments became a great victory because he chose not to stay sad.
Without the LORD we have nothing. We are nothing, And life has no meaning.Without the Lord i have no hope, none. I will praise the Lord that He gives me life, purpose and redemption.
Amen.Without the LORD we have nothing. We are nothing, And life has no meaning.
With the LORD we have everything.
We have peace through Jesus Christ.
We have been made heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ.
And we can do all things through Christ.
Remember Joseph, he was put on the slave block. But the Scripture says he was prosperous because the LORD was with him.
Interesting, thank you.I like the statements during that song.
The one that says
God never spoke to me.
Then at the end the question is asked
Can you hear me now?
God has always been speaking to us. We just tend to drown Him out.
