That doesn't explain the line "one day they will follow you into the sun".
Just from that one quote how do we know he is talking about the sun god?
I just saw the movie "The Croods" with my daughter yesterday. It's an animated movie about cave men who haven't yet discovered fire.
Along comes "guy" in the middle of the night carrying a torch of fire (light). This guy introduces the cave people to all kinds of knowledge and encourages them to "ride the sun" and "follow the light".
He specifically tempted the daughter of the cave family, whose name is "Eep" (although I'm certain they called her "Eve" at least a couple of times) to follow him. He enticed her with fire and knowledge, to ignore her father's orders to "stay in the cave".
The entire movie is about sun worship. Knowing what I know, as a Christian and one who has researched ancient religions and freemasonry, it was so obvious to me but it sends a very dangerous message to young minds trying to find their own way, without the benefit of a solid relationship with God.
Not to mention Nicolas Cage is the voice for the father of the family, and with his track record of films I can't help but wonder if he is secretly a Mason.
Am I being paranoid, or did anybody else see this movie and get this message?
That's a valid point, but sometimes the message is far too obvious and, in this case, far too similar to the devil tempting Eve, to be ignored.I would challenge all you paranoids to name me one movie that does NOT have some sort of secret message.

Seriously, if you look hard enough, you can find whatever it is you want to find.

I'm a freelance writer and write both fiction and non fiction. When you write a story, your not trying to subvert your audience by feeding them secret messages. No. You are just trying to give them a good story. 99.9% of the time, a duck is just a duck
Lastly, I would like to point out that so-called secret and subliminal messages (if they do exist) aren't going to undo your conditioning and beliefs or make you suddenly want to take an action against your will.
IN case you missed the subliminal messages I put in my post, highlight this entire thread and notice the slightly bolded words eat an orange
so did my subliminal and secret messages suddenly compel you to do something???
