Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

These animals are either extinct or not yet found in the current era. Since 'evolutionists', nor creationist, have found living or fossil examples of these creatures (not even ancestors nor offspring), I don't understand the problem.

If there was some tangible evidence for these creatures, 'evolutionists' (i.e. the scientific community) would embrace it.

You have to understand where he's coming from. He takes the Bible literally. Period. If it says something, no matter how fantastical, it's true, regardless of evidence or plausibility.

So, in his mind, these animals actually exist (like a ten year old with an imaginary friend - just try and tell him his friend doesn't exist), they have yet to be discovered. Or maybe they just lived in another "dispensation," or something.

I watched an old movie the other day, "Cat Ballou". In it lee Marvin plays this washed up old sot of a gunfighter. He is broke, but really wants a drink.

So he tries this: Whenever there is a good idea, or good point made up comes his head, and he says "I'll drink to that!" and looks around hopefully to see who will buy him a drink. Everyone just ignores the old fool, like he is not even there. Not a bad idea.



That is kind of how all these silly announcements that the "bible pwns evolution" sound
We are just going along and.. Up pops Bible pwns evo!!!! Anybody impressed, you interested???

Looks around to see who will fall for it. Anything for some attention. Meanwhile everyone just goes about their business. They have heard this before.

To your list of species I would also add giants and hobbits, both problematic for fundamentalist evolutionists.

Evolutionist fundamentalists are afraid of the historical zoological cryptids revealed in the Bible.

If an atheist found the skeletal remains of a firebreathing dragon I contend he would either (a) rename it a pterosaur or (b) destroy the evidence.

Why would we destroy the evidence? It's not like fire-breathing dragons are an evolutionary nightmare.

Since none actually existed, I contend that they do not. Besides, unicorns and dragons are just modern creatures with an artistic flourish (notwithstanding the fact that the Bible is somewhat silent on what these creatures actually are).
