The Bible and Fig trees?

Hey Gareth,
I'm pretty sure the 'Fig Tree' represents Israel,but i always like to give a reference with it...

"My beloved spoke,and said to me,'Rise up,my love,my fair one,and come away.
"For lo,the winter is past,the rain is over and gone;
"The flowers appear on the earth;the time of the singing of birds is come,and the voice of the turtle(dove) is heard in OUR land;
"The FIG TREE putteth forth HER green figs,and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise me love,my fair one,and come away.'"
~Song of Solomon-2:10-13

Now compare this with Matthew-24:32,Mark-13:28,and Luke-21:30.
Basically they all state that when the FIG TREE puts forth it's fruit,then you know that summer is near,and Christ's return is soon.
Interesting that the 6-day war occurred in JUNE-1967.
That's when Israel won back some territory,or added some more 'fruit',so to speak. Just a thought.

Anyhow,i think during the summer months is when we will prepare for,and be READY for the second coming.

Gareth, my brother jesus was needed food and he come up the that fig-tree and he sow that the fig-tree was bad and what he was saying in there is that as long you got faith u can do anything i not sure if that helps u on that one God bless u brother

I don't understand why Jesus killed the Fig Tree either. Isn't this going against some of what he preached? (Such as not being jealous when your peers make money for their work and you don't?) Someone else probably ate the Figs.... and Jesus was unhappy that there were none left for him so he just killed it!? I don't know... this confuses me.

18When Jesus got up the next morning, he was hungry. He started out for the city, 19and along the way he saw a fig tree. But when he came to it, he found only leaves and no figs. So he told the tree, "You will never again grow any fruit!" Right then the fig tree dried up.
20The disciples were shocked when they saw how quickly the tree had dried up. 21But Jesus said to them, "If you have faith and don't doubt, I promise that you can do what I did to this tree. And you will be able to do even more.
