I started getting into it during the second season and loved it. I really liked both Clay and Rubban, and I wish Clay would have got it. During the third season I lost interest in it quick. Simon's offenses are the same, and some of those horrible singers almost seem staged. Plus it seems that if you are a white male, you have no chance of winning!

Clay came close and the marine guy went far as well.
Last year the football player blew it early. It was his genre and he picked something really lame. I told my wife he blew it as soon as he finished, and the next night Simon said the same thing.

You know. I can honestly say I've never watched an episode of American Idol. Heh, it seems interesting, but I'd rather listen to the winners on the radio or something. I'm much too busy to watch every episode (I know if I watch one I'll be hooked.) LoL

I dont' know what you all have been smoking but Ruben and Fantasia should have won. They deserved it. Ruben was by far head and shoulders abouve the rest. Fantasia wiped the floor with Diana Digarmo who didn't even deserve to be in the final 10 led alone the final 2.

If you really want a debate lets talk about Kelly Clarkson's title. Tamyra got screwed and Kelly had to face Justin who was by far the more inferior "talent". Not taking anything away from Kelly but lets be real, if Tamyra would have got the nod above Justin then Tamyra would have been the champ not Kelly.

P.S.-- You guys wouldn't know talent if it hit you in the head with a steel chair.

wow... that was rather rude... and completely uncalled for...

anyway... tonights episode was so-so... I agree with the judges on everyone who left... I don't think they should have given that one group another chance though... the ones who picked the "different" song and then went to sleep instead of practicing... it's their own faults... they screwed up and shouldn't have been given another chance...
