  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

* Starlight looks around his new home in the mysterious land of eternal frost. Looking south, he notices a great ice desert stretching over the horizon. He turns around and walks slowly towards the shore, carefully watching a group of penguins just a few meters away from him. They seemed to be totally uninterested and engaged in strange activities which would never be understood by humans. When Starlight reached the shore, he paused for a while, looking at his reflection in the crystal clear water. Having nothing else to do, he sat down, took "Deception Point" out of his backpack and started to read it, taking advantage of the last minutes of the day. (wow, that was a long post! :o)

Well, here's a question for you! If you are AGAINST global warming, wouldn't the best place to fight global warming be in the heavily populated areas? I mean, the heavily populated areas are the places that use arasol (sp) cans, whcih causing global warming.
