ah, but that is not to say that the discussion of these matters itself is not educational and, possibly, enlightening. We need not ignore these issues because we can not reach a consensus (where would Christianity be if that was the case!).

I have found much to ponder from the thoughts and ideas of my fellow Christians on this forum, so it is all useful.

But, yes, as for the seeking if that "unified theory", I doubt that is possible whenever you get more than one person together. In fact, you might have a problem with consistency even with ONE person!
