  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We will no longer support TapaTalk when our new style goes live. Over the last few days we have made changes to better support mobile users on our site and when our new style goes live, the mobile interface will be even more user friendly.

We have found that there are far to few TapaTalk users out there and far too many issues with TapaTalk to warrant continuing to support it.

Is the Tapa Talk thing the app we can get on our smartphones?

I tried that once. My phone hated that and spit it out. The dang phone was pretty rude about it and pretty much refused to be nice. Bleah.

I think it's just easier to come in on a laptop and use PDANet+ on my phone to hook it up if there's no Internet. I have a sorta dumb smartphone but this works.

Is there any further news on this ?

With being dyslexic, I read and was able to use it the site better with Tapatalk, the mobile site is awful and the desktop site is ok but not great for me.

I know I may be in a small majority but it would be fab if a app or something better was going

Would it be reasonable to make an app specifically for these forums? I don't know how hard it is but it could maybe be an option.
