  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My guy and I are both pretty quiet so we just usually enjoy each others company. Sometimes I wish we'd talk more but I can't complain too much, there are some nights when we do talk a lot, usually about our careers and future, just in general not about us together right now, and sometimes about our families. We talk about our classes and work too.

We tend to talk more when we're our with other friends and stuff. He's a pilot and so are two of our friends so he can talk to them more about that stuff then he can me with, I know a little and I'm learning but he knows I don't enjoy it as much as they do. Plus they're a little more outgoing then we are so they always come up with something to talk about.

It all really depends. Some days we have no end to our conversation. Other days we just want to hold each other and soak it all in. But most of the time, we operate on cycles. We talk and joke then it's followed by a period of good silence and cuddling, followed by an increase of conversation, then back to silence again.

We usually talk a lot. I love it. If neither of us can really think of anything to talk about, we pull out our copy of 101 Question to Ask Before You Get Engaged (lol even though we're already engaged). Unless we really are just laying together cuddling, we like to have heaps of conversation.
Before we got together, one of my hugest worries about being in a relationship was not finding anything to talk about. Lol it's sooo not an issue!!

One of my favorite things about us is that we can talk a lot, which has never been something I was good at Usually when we go on a walk or something like that, we talk the whole time. But we are also really comfortable with silence, since we're both introverts, so we have some of that too. I've found it really hard to carry on a conversation when just the two of us go bowling. One of us is always up taking a turn
