first time years ago I dreamed about a circular pool of water and the water was going in a circular motion with baby bottles in the water and Jesus sitting by the pool. another time same pool and water was swirling with the bottles but the sides of the pool were gone but the water was still contained the same as if a wall was there and the dream had superheros in the dream.
Another dream also a bigger and taller pool of water with baby bottles in it and water swirling and the name Jennifer was important in the dream.

Another dream I am with the apostles and I see a waterfall and I am swimming in the river produced by the waterfall. I'm having a hard time swimming and I see the apostles standing by the river and it was important for me to get out of the river because the water was going in a circular motion and the water was swallowed up by a hidden pool that was circular and the water was swallowed up as it was in a circular motion and I saw roman benches in the circular pool.
another dream I'm standing on a castle parapet and I look into the sea and the water is swirling and forms a water tornado that goes deep into the sea and I am shown how the castle walls go deep as if never ending. In this dream I saw an ash cloud that looked like flies that shot fiery embers and the fiery embers hit my eyes burning them and I go to the corner of the parapet as huge flies attack my back and i touch almost hit the wall saying the name "Jesus" over and over again.

I have had these dream over a period of about eight years now...the walls of the pools are white.

The reason I'm posting this is because today I had a dream that I had a huge house...very big. I was in the upper rooms and on a large balcony and had the kind of balloons that one would use to make animals out of...someone had made a colorful thing that I fit into and relaxed and floated like the balloons had helium in them. A large regular huge pool was below. On my balcony I saw pipes that carried water and the water was very hot in the pipes and I dared not touch the pipes that led down from the balcony. Now I'm out of the balloon thing and I'm in a trough like thing and a mirror was on the wall above it and above the mirror was an overhang thing with a light. but I started to stir the light and saw it was water and I concentrated on swirling it and then I had a branch??stick? in my hand and I'm swirling the circular light that is water and it turns into a water tornado? the water swirling down like a tornado...but I stopped and the water went back into the circular pool above. My husband at some time walked into the room and the room was dark. I started to lift myself up and saw my reflection in the mirror and at first I was scared to look in the mirror..but what I saw was Jesus but I did not see him clearly because the room was dark.

What does swirling water mean?

Oh I almost forgot...in my last dream I posted on here I also had the pool and swirling water in that dream...

Another dream also a bigger and taller pool of water with baby bottles in it and water swirling and the name Jennifer was important in the dream.

Two contrasting perspectives are coming to mind here:

1. There is no flow or progress, like the expression "going around the mountain". Even when the wall was not there, the water did not flow out but was still contained, restricted as though by something invisible.

Baby bottles are for infants that have been weaned, but are still not walking or only just starting to walk- perhaps "stuck" at a stage of growth.

The link below states what I am thinking, but it is stronger, more corrective & more pointed than I would like, although it illustrates what I am thinking. Hope you are able to see past the pointedness to receive something positive: http://www.xtblast.com/web_user/roh/weems070807.pdf

2. The stirring of the waters at the pool of siloam
John 5:4 for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted.
This is more of a healing symbolism.

In the dream, Jesus doesn't seem to be involved in the pool. He is not "in" the pool, His is sitting & not active & He is sitting "by" it, like He is waiting for something. This might fit with the going around the mountain.

Perhaps there could be a message of the combination of both #1 & #2, that maybe there has been a going round & round in your mind over an issue & the solution is to go to Jesus for living water & healing.

Jennifer | meaning of Jennifer | name Jennifer: Jennifer \j(e)-nni-fer\ as a girl's name is pronounced JEN-ee-fer, JEN-if-er. It is of Welsh origin, and the meaning of Jennifer is "fair and smooth".

We live in a fallen world & the rain falls on the righteous as well as the unrighteous. So even as Christians we can experience things that deeply hurt us & which seem grossly unfair. It can be hard to get past these as we wrestle with God's justice & goodness towards us in the midst of the stirring.

Was there some life circumstance just before the dreams started which made you feel unfairly treated by life or the Lord?

The recent dream speaks to me of the Lord prospering you & lifting you up over the years, but there still seems to be this issue that you have not yet let go of. In this dream, you are doing the stirring.

My husband at some time walked into the room and the room was dark. I started to lift myself up and saw my reflection in the mirror and at first I was scared to look in the mirror..but what I saw was Jesus but I did not see him clearly because the room was dark.
I really like this imagery. This speaks to me of the righteousness of Christ which has been given to you as a gift. You don't need to worry when you look in the mirror, Jesus has you & your sin covered. Praise the Lord!

My initial thoughts of the swirling water were also
The stirring of the waters at the pool of siloam
I]John 5:4 for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted
This is more of a healing symbolism
The baby bottles reminded me of 1 Peter 2
2 So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. 2 Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, 3 now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness. and also Hebrews 5
12 You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. 13 For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. 14 Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong

Do either of those passages speak to you?

Last night I had a dream about the law looking in my house for a gun. The ones looking and hoping to find a gun(by the way in real life I don't own a gun because I don't like them because I feel that they can be used to hurt others.) But the ones hoping to find a gun were people in real life that are deceitful and look to falsely accuse others...they are liars and they take their time to slowely ruin credibility of others ....for there own gain...out of fear and revenge also.
In real life I just encountered the individual in a store and he went out of his way to say hi to me but he did not stay long because I was with my husband and children. I care about him ...don't like the things he does and I know that our fight is not against flesh and blood.

But the part in my dream that tears at my heart is in the dream I had a baby and he was a very very happy joyful baby but he was starving and very small for his age because I was always forgetting about him and not feeding him. This is the second dream I have had of this baby that is joyful happy and forgiving and full of love.I made a new bottle for him and fed him and he ate the milk within seconds...I knew he could eat more.

The reason I am posting last nights dream here is because I think it might be confirmation of what you two have posted.

I will think on the things you have said....

Hi TamaraLynne,

First of all, props to Firewater and flowergogo for adding perspective which gave me insight.

I believe these dreams point to the need to resolve issues. As in real life, in dreams water can represent something either beneficial or destructive. The presence of Jesus in the first dream seems to add a positive tone, but it's clear from the second dream that His position outside the water is critical: the apostles want you out of that swirling water. The water, then, is a destructive force. It's hard to swim in this raging water, and the best you can do is follow it in circles.

There are at least three elements that point to childhood: the bottle, the balloons, and the baby. Perhaps rather than "relaxing and floating" with it, something affecting should be confronted and resolved. I'm not sure how literally "Jennifer" should be taken.

At least at one point, the pool is hidden. This indicates it will take some effort to find the root of the problem (Lk 6.47-48). It may be in your past. I wonder if the Roman benches refer to some church experience you had.

The high parapet represents a spiritual vantage point, from which you watch the whirlpool form. Whatever this unrest is, it is trying to attack even your elevated position in Christ, as those fiery embers are satan's fiery darts (Eph 6.10-ff). That castle, with its never-ending foundation, represents Jesus, and you touch its wall and call on His name for protection, as you should (Prov 18.10).

I think the pools' white walls represent the context of this struggle: you are holy, because you are in Christ. This is a soulical matter, and as it is resolved your spirit should rest in your salvation in Christ, your strength. The shield of faith will quench those fiery darts.

In the house, you purposefully stirred up the waters yourself. You may be unknowingly cooperating with lies spoken against you. The hot pipes would be unresolved emotions, perhaps unforgiveness or anger, but it seems most of all, fear. The reason for stirring the light was to obscure the mirror image. You were afraid of what you would see, but the truth is that you and everything about you is covered in Christ. He is your true self now, and you have nothing to fear, because of His completed work on your behalf. An increase in understanding that truth (more light) is called for, and your identity in Him will become more clear

We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit. -2Cor 3:18.
The gun business seems to point to lies that were spoken over you. Perhaps believing vicious lies is at the root of the fear. If all this is correct, the Lord is calling you to healing, which will usher in greater holiness. While identifying the need to confront the false accusations, He assures you that victory is reserved for you, as you look to Him and turn up the light. That baby is your inner man. He is in need of good food, and the Lord wants to provide it.

Thank you, flower. It was your and FW's input that encouraged me forward. I also thought this morning that the presence of the apostles might indicate a doctrinal aspect. Maybe something is askew in that area that leaves an open door to attack.

But the important thing is whether and how all this resonates with TamaraLynne. Hopefully it has been of some benefit.

Blessings.

God came to me in a dream years ago and told me I was an apostle...of course I have no idea what it means to be an apostle...I had dreams of the apostles before God told me I was one. I consider myself an apostle in training taking baby steps....and that in raising my children and being a wife that maybe I'm an apostle to my family....but I'm not a part of a church....years upon years ago I thought my gift would be healing because everytime I raised my hands in worship my hands would get hot. I think there are many issues in my life that keep repeating themselves...so the interpretation here seems to fit. Eight years ago I drew very very close to God and he was working on my heart concerning forgiveness for others...also in drawing close to God he showed me exactly what it means when he says he abides in me. I now KNEW how God lives in me and that he is for me...changed my entire outlook on what it means to be a Christian.

Thank you everyone (((hug))) I'm a work in progress.

Thank you, TamaraLynne. It looks like flower was right-on about calling.

I'm sure you're aware that there is a great move on to reclaim the office of the apostle. The greatest place we can see this is in the underground church in China, which consists of a semi-hubless network of house churches. There, certain men will have millions of people under them, but in a very loose hierarchical arrangement so that the network can survive any number of hits.

It's no coincidence that the most seminal work on the house church movement, Houses that Change the World, by Wolfgang Simson, examines the house church in China and in the Book of Acts, but also speaks about reclaiming the apostleship office, and the fact that many apostles in the West are actually out of church. Apostles can have such a burden of sensitivity on them concerning what the church should be doing, that the conditions they are subjected to in church, very often including persecution, send them packing. Until the church realizes its error and brings them back into the fold, Simson argues, she will never attain the fullness of power that her Lord wants her to have.

I've excerpted a pertinent small part of the book, where he defines the function of the apostle and describes the church's persecution of the office, in this blog post. There is also a link to a free draft copy of the book there. The draft is beyond superb, though the finished product was developed significantly more, and polished.

Whatever the state of the church and our individual callings may be, the central issue is to rest in Him, and in who we are in Him. As you saw in that mirror, when God looks at us He sees not the flaws, but Christ. Knowing the Lord is on our side, no matter what, convinces us to go confidently to the throne of grace, for help in time of need.

I almost wasnt going to add to the wonderful insight that has been offered by our Brothers and Sisters but I wanted to say that what you said about a call towards healing confirmed for me what is in my spirit concerning your dream.

Others were also lead to that and it confirmed it for me then but to see it from you put me at ease. I've been snooping around this thread to see where it was going so its great to see you post that.

The pool of Bethseda where Jesus encountered the man who had been invalid for years upon years was all that kept speaking to me.

It was a matter of healing, a matter of choice and a matter of turning. Healing was for him through Jesus and he had the ability to take up his own mat and be healed.

The bottles I thought for sure tied into the fact that he had to reach a place of maturity to understand this.

There is a stage of maturity that you needed to reach in your calling.

All4,

That's a great connection. I may be going far afield, but it struck me this way: The man at Bethesda was looking to the troubling of waters for his healing, but Jesus offered a better way: looking to Him in faith. I know from the wounds I have taken on, that my first reaction is to feel that I need to go back and "conquer" the circumstances myself, in my own strength. But the right response is instead to look to Jesus. By identifying with Him we gain real power to overcome.

I don't know if this pertains, but it hit me that way.

Blessings.

God also told me that I was an apostle, which was a bit scary at the time, and I still don't really know what that means, but I know God has used me strongly in a local church, that He has placed me (definetly not my choice!!) I know it seems strange but the church has been my mission ground, and although I've not actively attempted to change anything, God has used my prayers, and love of Him, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, to change the whole spiritual foundations of the church. It hasn't been easy. It's seemed like a very long and lonely journey at times, but looking back, I see the time has helped me grow in character, patience and understanding, as well as drawing me ever closer to the source of all we are. There is still much more needed to do, but perhaps for you, it might be worth asking God to show you what your first step needs to be today, and in faith, take it! If you listen to His calling to the little steps of faith, He will get you to where you need to be, and to have the character to be able to carry the blessing, gifting, and calling He has given you! Have FUN!!!

Thank you everyone. In me wanting to know my first step.....I feel anger at the way things are....my daughter said I need to focus on the positive that is going on in the churches ....But for me it is as if a dam is ready to break.. I think I need to vent and throw a bit of a tantrum with God...because I'm not seeing very clearly. Maybe I won't throw a tantrum but I feel like it.

I would say it is better to be honest and transparent with God than not (Prov 27.5). He knows it all anyway, and there is nothing you can say that is even going to come close to dislodging Him from His throne.

Going that route can be very painful for a season, but remember all the while that God is the true lover of your soul, and more than anyone else wants you healed, happy, and fruitful. He will bring you through. So many times I've gone into prayer with a bad attitude, confessing my doubts, etc, but come out cleansed and refreshed.

Whatever is going on, it is clear that you have these dreams, and the calling of apostleship, because He is advocating for you, not against you (see Romans 8). The promises of God in Christ for us are all "yes", and await our "amen".

I also know the pain of not being in church, and I pray the Lord brings true fellowship into your life, where each member sincerely cares about and contributes to the wellbeing of the others. The time is short, and each of us needs to be about our Father's business.

Thank you sooo much paul1149 (((hug)))

I started to feel a bit better last night and my brain is just swirling

Been thinking of my younger years when I fell in love with Jesus and I do think my ministry really is with children. I know i feel simple and others disagree with me but I really am very simple...I like to keep things simple anyways.

But.....I'm thinking I might want to do things differently...not just a bible school thing in church but something seperate....a bible school time for kids and their parents. My brain is trying to see through the fog at exactely what it is that I see.

When it comes to the heart, simple is good. The fact that you are pulled toward some kind of new expression of the Body may well reflect an apostolic call. As I thought about the second dream, armed with the additional information that has come out in this thread, it seemed that it was your apostolic calling itself that wanted you out of that swirling water. IOW, to fulfill the calling, you need to resolve whatever that swirling represents (Lk 11.41). Keep at it. You will overcome.

and a p.s. from me... don't rush, or try and work it all out now, or your head will just go into overload!! I know from experience!! jsut keep listening and see what the first step is and trust in God with the ones down the line and you will make it. If you have reconciliations that God is calling you to make, make them. Even if it's just in your own heart and mind. Thankfully we are called not to be wise in our own understanding. phew what a relief. we just have to keep taking baby ssteps. God bless you. xx
