survivors (need help with a fiction I'm writing)

I'm writing a book where vampires are actually pure, sinless immortals living since the time of Jesus, because of that bit in revelations that says that "some of you will not die before the second coming of Jesus." --or something like that

I have John, son of Zebedee, but I need more. Any hints? i pretty much need to know about people that died of natural causes, not crucifying etc. Thanks
