Well, here is the meaning:

"What is T" is a mathematical equation, being T= and the number is 42 being the answer, thus T=42, but this is not the meaning, but merely the hidden meaning, for it is about one human male seeking the love of the female, and therefore what is the meaning "T = [is] "Forty Two"" or better written "T[ea] = [is] 4 [for] 2 [two], and thus "Tea is For Two"... and thus the 'height' of British [atheistic] hilarity, though if it isn't herbal tea, it is bad for you....
