  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Suggestions for guidelines

As a Pet rescuer you agree to :
1. Each Pet Rescuer should at least keep ID health up(equals to 3 post a day). Can post more at one time so not have to post daily unless you want to post 3 daily....if post 21 in one day then your health will be good for 7 days...( post in all different types of forums to get word spread about Pet Rescuers but not to be a troll) or you have the option to turn off the health bar if it isn't 100%

2. Each Pet Rescuer will keep own pet alive and fed....

3. Each Pet Rescuer should have each other as buddies and network with each other about anyone who might want a different pet.

4.Each Pet Rescuers will keep track of donated blessings recieved for Rescuing, pets adopted out (usernames of those who are only using us to get blessings) to send list last day of every month to doctorcf.

5. We can give out 10 rep's a day. Each Pet Rescuer can Rep anyone who they think is taking good care of their pets....( will give good encouragement to take care of pet).

To be a Pet Rescuer

1. Should be here at CF at least 4 months
2. Should already have a pet and be able to keep it healthy.
3. Should be active with posting in your personal account ( have at least 200 posts)4. Able to get along with others without picking a fight.
5. Should have a waiting and training time to learn how to be a rescuer. About two weeks.
6. Should be able to be on-line at least every two days.
7. Should have rescued at least one pet or more with personal ID.
8. Should not have started own Rescuers ID ( they can use that ID to rescue pets, will talk about that later as a different team).
9. Should not be on list as person using us to get blessings by adopting pet at lower price and placing same pet up for adoption at higher price !!!!!
10.Fill out and summit application to apply for Postition of Pet Rescuer?? ( Will write up application later today)

Not sure if we can say anything about how much they post on there personal account after they become a rescuer... Is that pushing too far??

Yes your right about application, will drop that...maybe when they ask about being a rescuer they can write why they want to...

Well, you said that they had to already ave and be able to care for a pet on their first account before we give them another account.

That would work.

Great guidelines. I am in agreement and think this is not too restrictive, yet sets out clear terms regarding the rescue team.
One question: what are the expectations with regard to rescue? Are there specific #s of pets we need to care for? Is there a clear place we need to go for reporting problems with pets? Not trying to add burdensome rules/regs, etc. just want to be sure I do not do something to cause any problems for the team.

We have about 300 pets alive on CF and I try my best to visit each of them twice every week. I only post about the ones I find near death or dying twice in one month. Without making any members upset that I am telling them how to care for their pet. I try not to be a nuisance. If you as Pet rescuer would like to help make rounds i am more then happy to give you numbers to check on, but I request to keep any reports in PM only and not made public. We do not want any member upset that we are taking over and bossing them around... PM me if you would like to help with rounds....
