I might be hooked, hello friends. Someone in chat mentioned it while I think I was playing solitaire or talking about it, and my computer hasn't finished the download by I got an app on my phone and I like it a lot! Anybody have strategies?

Wait, there are actually strategies?

I don't play it often maybe about 3 weeks ago :] but it sure is fun!

Apparently more than I realised, but they seem so complicated. I just started playing yesterday.

Do you know how to play chess? Im pretty bad at chess but I respect the game.

I wonder if sudoku is played competitively, like professionals. I bet if i watched them i could get good.

Solitaire can have competitions. I knew how to play chess, don't know if I still could.

I have no clue how to play Solitaire, maybe one day I will learn. Always see it aorund though because pretty much every computer has solitaire on it...as well as mine sweeper. That game was complicated anyway.

Free cell is hard but I started on single suit spider and now play four suit Klondike (or classic/plain solitaire, I think Klondike must have sponsored it for Microsoft solitaire).

I used to do puzzles quite a bit but had forgotten all about it Sudoku.
We had gotten our daughter a Sudoku game board a few years ago so I went and checked the game closet and there it was. She left it here when she got married. I set it up and put it on the table so everyone can work on it randomly in their comings and goings.
Thanks for the reminder. Have fun!

I enjoy Sudoku a lot. But I played it so much that most of them got too easy for me.. then there are some of the harder ones that I can't solve. I guess one of my main strategies is utilizing the note taking option in applications to help narrow down what numbers it could be in the more tricky Sudoku puzzles. I also look for each number sequentially until I find them all. That way I don't loose track of what number I haven't checked yet. There are a lot of variations of Sudoku as well that can be fun.
I've been playing nonograms a lot more the last few years.

I started doing Sudoku this summer and am hooked. I learned some strategies by watching the Cracking the Cryptic videos on You tube, like this one:

I play Sudoku, too. I bought a Sudoku board set a few years ago. When my son's family was here a couple years ago he started playing it with his eight year old son, so I got them a set for Christmas that year. Sudoku is great for building and exercising critical thinking skills.
I haven't watched the video so I can't comment on that yet.
Have fun!
