  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Whats your funny responses to questions from Siri?


Today when questioning my iPhone I asked:

Q. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck would chuck wood?

A. A so called 'woodchuck' (correctly speaking, a groundhog) would chuck- that is throw- as much as the woodchuck in question was physically able to chuck (ibid.) If woodchucks in general had the capability and presumably the motivation to chuck wood.

Attempt 2

Q. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

A. well since a 'woodchuck' is a groundhog, the correct question would be:
How many pounds in a groundhog's mound when a groundhog pounds hog mounds?

You wonder why the iPhone gurus at Apple spent time putting in the funny answers that Siri gives to some questions.

If you ask Siri to sing for you twice the second time she will start to sing "If I only had a brain" from wizard of oz.

Lol! I just did that one. "What, again?"

My kids have asked her, "Will you marry me?" Repeatedly. And each time she has a different answer as to why not.

The also ask her knock knock jokes. My kids have a lot of fun with Siri. Great for long car rides.
