I am not seeing the empirical evidence on that study. I also don't see how one study could be construed as definitive empirical evidence as I believe you are stating.
What is "definitive empirical evidence"? I didn't use that expression.
I cannot even find the study. The links only go as far as a posted abstract. I asked for a link to the study but maybe my original post was over looked.
Well, if you actually read the article you'd find an embedded link to the original paper No Missing Link: Knowledge Predicts Acceptance of Evolution in the United States | BioScience | Oxford Academic

ETA: I suspect you are complaining that you do not have a subscription to the journal. I can't help you with that - perhaps you should buy one?

I did read the article. I did click on all the imbedded links. Your link takes me to the abstract that I clearly told you about in the previous post. Lets try this: POST A LINK TO THE ACTUAL STUDY.

See my edit to my post.

The link in the article is to the paper. You get redirected to the abstract page because you don't have a subscription to the journal. If you want access to a scientific journal try paying the requisite fee.

This has to be the most drawn out sales pitch in the history of mankind. Why don't you just copy and paste it for the rest of us. Have you even read it? This also makes me wonder how many people in this thread actually read it... Based on the low low price of $569.00 my guess would be none of you. Until someone actually posts the original paper this thread is ludicrous at best.

If you want me to fund your research you'll need to provide a better application than that. The subscription is $569. If you consider that amount of money to be mere pocket change then pay it yourself. If you consider it to be a substantial amount please let us know why we should pay it for you.

No, those fields of study do not conflict with the Bible. Some of the conclusions made by men do.

There are historical errors in The Bible. E.g. Luke's discussion of Pharisee Gamaliel's speech. More Historical Inaccuracies In The Bible

There are astronomical errors The Bible. E.g. The 'firmament'.
Biblical scientific errors - RationalWiki

There are geological errors in The Bible. E.g. the lack of evidence for a worldwide flood. Flood Geology and the Grand Canyon: What Does the Evidence Really Say?

Do you see any contradiction between these two posts? First you said that you had found a long list of creation scientists, as if the fact that many scientists are creationists proves that creationism is true;
not at all...I was asked for the list...I said nothing at all about whether or not it was important to know how many people believed. that is your fallacy and your reading into my posts what is not there, which goes back to my original point that you all are too zealous to discuss anything without all the emotional garbage you add on.
now you are saying that the truth of an assertion doesn't depend on the number of people of people who believe it.
it never has and never will but that doesn't mean that if I am directly asked for a list I shouldn't provide it, now does it? I mean, it is common forum courtesy to respond to what people say and ask for rather than the games you all like to play.
Also, a lot of people do say that the fact that the Bible is the world's best-selling book, or that Christianity has the largest number of adherents of any religion, proves that that Christianity is true.
I have never said that, cause I think that is a horrible way to look at whether anything is true or not...but....you all haven't heard anything I have said anyway so whatever.

please reread my point. My point is that the theory of evolution like all other topics has zealots that refuse to listen to know if a person understands or not before judging. It's human nature and why I refuse to talk about my beliefs in such forums. If I could find someone willing to discuss not judge I would be all into it so that I could learn even more than I already know but sadly you all have evidenced this isn't gonna happen.

apparently the truth of my words is hitting a nerve....
Not at all.

Unfortunately you've convinced yourself that having an honest, reasonable conversation here is impossible, so why stay? Your opinions are set, why beat that horse.

lol with several people but feel free to stop trying to incite me to respond since doing so is against forum rules.
This is my point, maybe it's (wait for it ...) you.

And I'm not interested in your response, at all. In fact I've invited you to leave my thread.

lol I am currently in another thread talking about the reputation atheists have and I guarantee it isn't just me....lol...now, are you ready to stop trying to incite me to respond when I have already said I was done? Or are you going to further prove my point?

lol....oh my....how sad that you can't deal with the truth. If you ever feel like dropping the judgment and just have a discussion let me know. It would be without doubt interesting.
