Oh, great! Now you've gone and put those who are fond of attaching tin foil hats to non-conformists out of business. And during a government shutdown at that!
I'd think the tinfoil hats would now be more the fashion for the conformists and those prone to confirmation bias, after reading the article. This way those types can perch the hat on and repel any chance of new ideas entering their noggin. "I live in my own little world. But it's OK because they know me here."
I wonder if a tinfoil hat would sell on eBay if someone were to market it with a sellers description that was keenly worded to support this article? With the link to the article attached.
Enough with the Tinfoil hat jokes...it's played out.
Again, not in my experience. I have found CT proponents ready to launch into bizarre and aggressively offensive tirades at the most innocent of questions. This may be partly because they have experienced what you say, which leaves them overly defensive. But in my experience, any attempt, no matter how friendly and respectful, to do anything but completely agree with the average CTheorist, is met with haughty, condescending accusations of being a sheep, and worse.Possibly because those that would rather remain thinking inside a box tend to criticize people who think outside the box and very often do so with such venom, sarcasm, disrespect and varying levels of contempt, so as to reiterate what the article describes about that method as that caustic critics transpersonal strategy of exclusion.
They're not ready to hear something outside of what they're only ready to accept as true, and so they villainize the messenger so as to ignore the message.
As we see happening in this thread.
Yay!! That article is so comforting after all of those years of fighting between conventional thinking and the truth. The road to truth has been very painful. As a Christian, I didn't have so much conflict going on and just lived the Christian life, getting involved in Church and speaking Evangelicaleze, going to Bible studies, life was good. But when someone puts doubt in your mind, or challenges you to think beyond the "box" and for yourself, it's painful. A lot of back and forth between conforming and questioning, not God, but things happening in my country. When you already know that the murder of a president was a conspiracy, what makes you continue to think your government is always right or that your leaders care about you? If that were true, they wouldn't have killed a president who was beloved by the people. Then you start reading books to try to find out the truth and though it is painful and miserable, you can never go back. You know who the real leaders are and that any president who doesn't follow their orders will be eliminated or "neutralized" as was Reagan. It's very depressing knowing that a conservative will never be elected president again, unless there is some reason for delaying the agenda of the puppetmasters. Many in government are members of the CFR. Sad. We'll never go back to being a God-fearing country. But it is so much better than swallowing and digesting lies.
Tin foil hats are passe. When I'm back on my PC I'll link you guys to a site for a guy who sells special plastic hats, disguised as regular hats, that are guaranteed to stop ALL alien spy beams and CIA mind control rays. T
I wasn't being 'snotty' the site really exists. You guys were joking about tinfoil hats, what's snotty about joining in?Okay, that right there might be why, if you are asking simple questions, people think you are being snotty.
Alien=demonic attacks in some circles
And the mind control junk is still going on. There have been hearings on it and some of it has been declassified.
Now, You've got gang stalkers, psyops, hidden microphones, hidden bugs, electronics that are altered to aggravate you till you think you are going out of your mind and a lot of other stuff going on out there.
I shall return, the buzzer just went off for dinner.

Aww, thank you!I'm grammar challenged (can hardly remember the rules even though I've studied them a million times and actually printed them out long hand with examples. Still gotta go and look the stupid things up!) and I seriously thought I got it wrong, LOL!
You're welcome
And the "Saner" club has milk and cookies, so I'm told...yummy!

People tend to like their own little world. It's comfortable there. New things can be scary and especially when it bucks what someone imagines was always true.Again, not in my experience. Booo!! Hiss!!
Go find your own thread if you don't like tin foil hat jokes!
My pleasure.Oh wow! You just made my day!!!
I hope that's a spoof site and not a guy who's thinking on the for reals. Seriously.
Then again, I also wonder how much bank he draws down from sales.

Basically, nut bags aren't just CT's. And not all CT's are nut bags. Some things are labeled conspiracy theory and yet, like in the case with the NDAA, it's not a conspiracy theory. But it is a conspiracy to vacate the bill of rights.
YEAH! Long live the cult of Reynolds! <add Viking horns and you can get cable!
My pleasure.
Edit to add: If you're serious) Is it satellite? And if so, at ground level or even with the mobile home across the way?Oh, seriously? We've been having reception problems since our neighbor moved in across the street. His house (mobile home) is blocking our reception. Either that, or it's the stupid Smart Meter they put in.
Edit to add: If you're serious) Is it satellite? And if so, at ground level or even with the mobile home across the way?
If satellite that may be the issue. He's blocking.
I've heard of smart meters but no clue as to how they work with TV's. (or not with TV's)
Annnd what's wrong with wabbit ears?Nah, we still have old fashioned TV with rabbit ears and a box.
I spent money on wireless rather than a new TV.
Nope. As promised, back on my PC, here's the link: Stop Alien AbductionsSorry! I thought you were being sarcastic.
