I think girl 1 sounds the better choice for you. I mean you've openly said you prefer her, she's a Christian and you know her much better. And as she is a Christian she should be able to forgive you for what you've done to her in the past. Think about what you're dating girl 2 for, do you feel your relationship will ever be serious? If not is it that important to you.

You could always see where your current relationship goes, with God's help girl 2 might even convert like girl 1. Or you could ask girl 2 if you can pause it for a while to see which girl you want to be with most. If you do end things with girl 2 wait a while before getting back with one for both their sakes and also to use a cliche 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'. God bless.
