Stanley Kubrick, great or overrated?

And when I see these films and read these books and listen to that music, I am being shown the heart of the artist. And oftentimes, I don't like what I see. It is so much the world and not enough of the truth.

I wasn't saying that art was only about the sunny side of life. I was just saying that alot of films gravitate toward the negative aspects of people and society. They also put that stuff on a pedistal and glorify it. Believe me, I work on videos that only deal with sunny-side stuff, and even I get a bit bored with doing that.
