We don't forget that our bodies are sacred and the temple of the HS. But there's quite a difference in the risen Christ and exposing a dead man's remains every 10 years.

Well you have to remember that the greatest churches of the world are built upon the tumb of some of thegreatest saints of Christianity, Saint Peter and Saint Paul, etc.

That's kinda creepy to me. Keep him buried and let him rest in peace.

As a Saint he is in peace regardless of what happens to the body. Even if someone were to desecrate it the soul wouldn't be harmed. So if the sight of his corpse helps instill spirituality and pilgrimage spirit then why would the Saint be against it? It'd only be a problem if people began worshiping the corpse itself, which doesn't seem to be the case.

The whole keeping bodies, whether uncorrupt or not as relics is something I have never felt very comfortable with.

Just have a priest take out a blessing cross, and let the faithful be blessed with the holy spirit. No need to come stare at a rotting body surrounded by glass, imho.
