Seraphima went with me to DL, but we had to leave before lunch as Seraphima has TERRIBLE baldder infection again. We're going to the specialist again tomorrow for results of tests last Wed.

I have had problems also ...

And this is what my doctors have told me:

Use only pure soaps and not those fragrant liquid bath soaps.
When I stopped using those per the doctor's instructions, I noticed a big improvement.
Carefully wash hands before and after using the lady's room.
Use white, unscented and unbleached toilet paper if available.
Wipe carefully - front to back.
Drink cranberry juice every day if possible.
Consider cutting down on coffee, teas and sodas with caffeine, and chocolates
as these can irritate the kidney and liver especially if one is allergic to them.
Consider avoiding eggs.
Eggs are the leading factor that contributes to UTI and kidney infections.
When I gave up eggs, my UTI infection rate decreased dramatically.
As your doctor for any more recent research.

Excellent advice Aria! I'm going to have to pass this along to a friend of mine who gets bladder infections too!

My humble prayers for poor Seraphima!

So it would appear that only RedneckLutheran and I are the only ones who play instruments But wow does he play a lot!

Everytime a Church Feast day goes by I wish I had my licence! I am so tired of not being able to go to church! I was able to go on Acension (at least for the last 45 minutes of it because we were late!) for the first time since I was 4! Sorry for the rant I am just frustrated.

As for instruments, I play piano, viola and violin very poorly. I mostly just sing, though.

I woke up again... feeling a bit better... but most of the day is gone...
We left my engagement ring to get tightened and finally get it engraved with our engagement date. I had to get something to wear in the meantime so we got me one of those triple bands that they call Russian Weddingbands (signifies Holy Trinity) with three rings interlocked (while gold, yellow gold and pink gold). I'm just going to wear it on my left hand when I move my ring to my right hand when we have our crowning ceremony.

Well, time to spend some more time with hubby and then hopefully I'll feel well enough to go see Toby Keith tonight...

Hi everyone!

Been on our diocese's annual pilgrimage to Walsingham today. I took the oppurtunity to go to the Orthodox chapel there...it was amazing! It's the first time I've been into an Orthodox church...and it's the first time I've actually seen an Orthodox priest.

I just dropped in as I didn't have long. I might go to the DL next time if I can Deo volente. That's be really cool! It was a really small chapel and it's called Saint Seraphim's.

Unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me. But I bought an icon of Christ from the shop...and a medal with Our Lord on one side and Our Lady with the Blessed Infant on the other. But it has a chip in it! Oh well...

The second one...the chapel of Saint Seraphim.

I was wondering beforehand where the EO shrine is because of seen signs before...then after getting of the bus I saw a little dome with a Cross on top that had those two horizontal and diagonal bars at the top and bottom and thought "Yay! Found it!
