  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's the first day of Spring here officially, though the weather is not playing along today. But it should be up into the high 80's (28c) by Thursday they say.

I can't wait for summer.

For those of you north of the Equator going back to school, I hope this is a good year for you. Don't worry. Cheery log fires are not far away for you. And those nice winter sports we never get to play.

Well, head down and back to work.

Howdy Kolya!!
I'm tired, we had 7 people over for dinner last night and it was a blast but I finally finished cleaning up everything just a moment ago. Phew! It's finally getting cool and tolerable out so that's awesome. Got Kevin home for another two weeks or so and then I head out back to Finland for a month at the end of the month.

I spent last night with some friends from church, and we walked a lot and seen the fireworks. All the walking + flip flops = pain. The blisters seem to be better than last night, but it's still painful to walk.

It's times like these when I wish I was a wizard and could do the whole levitation thing.
