Its at SKegness, Its a brilliant place its excelent you havent lived untill you have been there, i haven't seen so many christians all there at once, I would highly recomend it, as i go with a youth group i know people there allready, but you can soon make friends, theres meetings as you would call them for different ages so you go there and you do god stuff all together, normally on a night you go to the big top, and the atmosphere is apsalootly brill you can feel him there, as i have been waiting for this for a year, you will miss it so badly once you leave.
Are you interested in going?
BTW, How old are you and where abouts do you live?

I'd love to, but I don't think it'll be possible. I haven't been for about 13 years. I went to Minehead for several years with a group from church, but the last place I went to was Pwllheli - or something like that.

From memory - don't try to do everything, it's a killer otherwise. First year, I went to morning Bble study, followed by main teaching session. Second year I just did teaching, third year, just Bible study. The teaching was so good, I just needed time to absorb it all.

Hope you enjoy it if you do go.

I went for a day trip to Spring Harvest about 2 years back and had a great time but I haven't been back since - had other trips planned that had taken up my holiday.. Those that are going whether it's your first time or not are sure to have a lot of fun... The events in the Big Top in minehead are top notch.

"How can we sing the Lord's song in a strange land?"

1 way, in the 6 weeks till UK votes, is to declare boldly, "Our God Reigns!"

& will hold all rulers accountable for every law, decision & action that contravenes Man's Maker's Manual, the Bible

A great way is to worship the Almighty Creator in the beauty of creation & declare His glory in songs of joy & triumph!

Do pray for the UK-wide Good Friday noon March of Witness to open-air proclamations

"The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdom of our God & of His Christ & He shall reign forever & ever!"

Handel's Messiah quotes Revelation there!

Must be on Radio 3/Clasic FM over Easter - so play it outside if the weather is OK, just as Spring Harvest theme urges, eh?

God bless!

Hi NJA,

I've not heard of that one, but I often go to Crowhurst Christian healing centre - also near Battle - for rest, refreshment, breakfast in bed and daily communion services. They also have two healing services a week, which are open for anyone to attend.
They sometimes have teaching, walking or craft weeks. And houseparties at Easter, Pentecost and Christmas. Otherwise, there's no particular theme to the weeks.

BBC site are asking how YOU celebrated Easter

Like 1/2 others, I typed about the great UK-wide Walks of Witness & central open air celebrations & proclamations of the new life Jesus offers to all - & @ using the great weather to play worship tapes at beauty spots later!

But nobody had typed about using a week of the holiday to go to Spring Harvest or Easter People, etc, so do encourage friends to testify to the unbeatable joys that faith in Christ brings to life, eh?

OH: here's a link to Easter thoughts thread here, for more inspiration:-
