Here's what it looked like from my location in the northwest piedmont of North Carolina. Unfortunately, there was a thin layer of clouds, and I couldn't get my camera to focus on it.

The rocket looks similar to a comet in your photo, such as Halley's comet.

The rocket will launch satellites for the EU, the Galileo navigation satellites. By the way, the live video narrator from Space Flight Now is Will Robinson-Smith.
Anyone old enough to remember the original series might find this a bit creepy.

Alright guys and gals. Once again, SpaceX will have a launch (yes, two in one weekend). This launch will be for Starlink (internet satellites) today at 5:50 PM (Florida time) on April 28, 2024. By the way, do not get me started on how Starlink is bad for astronomers. The satellites reflect so much sunlight.

Starlink interferes with astronomy: Hubble Space Telescope images increasingly affected by Starlink satellite streaks

Starlink Launch Date: Is there a launch today? Upcoming rocket launch schedule for SpaceX, ULA, NASA in Florida
