Something the Lord told me about a comming disaster in America.

It was about 10 pm, and I was watching youtube, when I heard what I beleived to be the voive of the Lord. And he told me that he has given America time and time again to repent, and she did not. Now is the time to pray for the citizens of America, and not just the nation, but this I tell you, and give you liberty to tell others, that in five days, a sudden disaster, that will appear in the twinkiling of an eye, though it shall not be the Rapture, shall strike America, without warning, and that the Lords elect shall be supernaturally protected and the unsaved who survive the disaster will be confounded and awestruck by the disaster.

One of the things I would like to know is what disaster could cause this. I do have a few idea's, like a terrost attack on chemical factories, perhaps a simotanious earthake among the New Madrid and San Andreas fault, or an eruption of Yellowstone national park. It could also be a stock market crash, but the term, "Disaster," points to other possibilities as well. All I know for certain is that we need to prey for both America and her citizens, as the Lord told me.

Predicting things is a slippery slope. It also comes with a great responsibility, take Harold Camping or Joseph Smith for example. Or anyone who leads people into sensationalism and gives place to fear mongering. Next week you'll face the very real possibility of joining their ranks, whether your intentions were good or not. You'll also have to face God for making predictions in His name if you're wrong. A consequence I would hate to face.

I say these things not to discourage you or beat you down or insult you. But to caution you that you don't leave yourself open to be a tool to lead people away. People who are being deluded and are carried off by "exciting predictions" and so forth (sensationalism). I've seen it happen in a church personally.

@ God's fighter: That's one thing I am in prayer about. The Lord has spoken to me in the past about things that would come to past, And many have, although there are still some things that have not, due to the time not being right for their coming to passage.. At the same time, I'm very cautious about who and where, and how I share what he has shown me, always asking him weather to share his words and to whom and how. Thank you for the reminder, I shall keep it in my heart and remember it always.

People here have done a lot of research in the last few years over similar dreams, and have found earthquake risks from hydrofracking, underground nclr testing, and other tunneling projects. There are so many real possibilities that I think it is not a matter of premonition, but projection of existing data.

It would not hurt for all of us to look at our counties' evacuation routes, where the large bodies of water sit, where the fault lines lie. Just go to your county's web site and search "evacuation" -- no big deal.

You can find out whether your home is at higher risk, or a good location for friends and family to gather. Write down phone numbers of people you can rely on if you're too panicked to think straight. (During an event, lol.)

If a large earthquake hits, we should also take note of where chemical factories store toxins, as there could be leakage -- especially if flooding is part of the event. And make sure you are not downwind from a n. power plant.

If you look at your roads and assume tens of thousands may have the same idea, look also for smaller tributaries that will get you where you need to go. Maybe throw a nylon tent in your car.

If so many people are getting alerts through various means, and the news confirms risks, then it is not paranoia to take a few preparative measures. Once some plans are in place, it's easier to relax and take whatever comes.

Your comment on chemical factories really stood out for me -- it was a piece of a larger puzzle that I've been trying to put together...why something I had seen might have had such total bleakness.

If it doesn't happen then you know it wasn't the Lord. I'm glad you said that you believe this is the Lord, rather than say, "Thus sayeth the Lord."

Therfore if it doesn't come true I don't believe u are a false prophet like Harold Camping.

So was this an audible voice that you heard with your ear or what?

I asked bc i believe a lot of people mistake their imagination and their own inner thoughts with God bc a lot of people say, "God spoke to my heart" when I believe they were talking to themself inside. That's my opinion. Could still be God talking to you on the inside idk but I just think some ppl mistake God for themself

Sorry ... when you say "America" I'm assuming you mean the US, right ?

What's interesting to me, is calling America specifically "she". I know this is common to do with countries .... but when America is personified and anthropomorphized so to speak, it's usually referring to two deity types, IIRC:

* Lady Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom of course (Statue of Liberty)
* Columbia, unique to the US as a mythical personification (female obviously) and named after Columbus

Just interesting to point out is all ...

A couple of potential events, if his predictions are true, war with Iran sparking off or straight of Hormuz being closed causing oil to skyrocket and fight for food and water begin. If oil skyrockets the grocery stores will be empty in 3 or more hours then the madness will start.

Regardless these two events could take place any day.

I know not all belive in the satanic illuminati agenda but they most certainly could detonate u.s. nukes on our own soil to blame iran or russia, much the same as staging 9/11 to start war in afghanistan and iraq.

This being the end times means many false prophets will come in the name of the Lord, not saying you (Acebopata) are one but everyone should be cautious of this prediction.

@ younddisciplectl3: I'm always caustios when the lord speaks to me, both to make sure that it is him speaking to me, and to make sure that I share what he tells me in the way he tells me to.

When the Lord does speak to me,likeI beleived he did concerning the first post, it's in an audible voice, one that's firm, strong, and sight to the point. He also tells me instructions, like to pray for it and who to pray for, along with any other instructions he would wish me to follow.

@ day time: Yes, I ment the United States, although I recon that other nations will be effected by the disaster indirectly.

I just herd on the news that a Russian satellite destined to the moons of mars had a malfunction and is heading towards earth, with 11 tons of extremely toxic fuel. Startlingly, considering the lord spoke to me about the disaster in my dream on the 11th, and this satellite is expected to enter earth within 24 hours form now, this satellite could potentially be the fulfillment of what the Lord told me.

The only thing is that the Lord told me that the disaster would take place in the twinkling of an eye, but considering the new anchors also stated that it is expected to land in the ocean, if it doesn't. and lands somewhere in america unexpectedly, it could prove this word form the lord to be true.

I saw the report on 5 News, and confirmed it on another site.

Please understand though that this is just a possibility of what the dream could be referring to. it could be this, might not be, or it could be this along with something else.

Dec '12 my Pastor concluded his sermon by saying that it's been predicted that within 30 days the biggest earthquake ever recorded will hit right here in Juneau, Alaska. [we're on a fault line.]
The 30 days will be up tomorrow.

If oil skyrockets the grocery stores will be empty in 3 or more hours then the madness will start.

I saw a little clip on Woodstock yesterday -- they mentioned how everything was gone off the shelves in a day. Usually during a normal storm, the batteries, dairy and generators are sold out, but not beets and liverwurst. It is so hard for us to picture what a real crisis would look like.

I had two unusual things happen in the last day that made me more alert. And then yesterday I read mail that asked me to wrap up some loose ends -- these gave me a "hey don't rush me" reaction, but made me wonder if real things needed to be wrapped up and closed down... simplified.

There was some hail in Missouri, and strong winds in St. Joseph,Illinois. Also, there is a power outage in Indiana Indianapolis, Indiana, which is in the path of the storm, according to radar.
