it's like love is taking over .. like all that was before was a precursor .. grace .. openness .. and now the rising of the morning stars in all our hearts .. the sun as noondday . but its like love is taking over .. and it is so awesome .

Hi Michael, I believe something amazing is going to happen soon to God's body, something that will allow it to become without spot or blemish, not just in theory, but in actuality.

I have been a Christian for a long time...39 years (I am now 60) and have seen for over twenty years a need for true heaven sent revival in these last days. I have seen us become so content with so little spiritually that the whole idea of a supernatural God is almost met with anger and resistance. What God is fixing to do will offend some, but bless multitudes, especially those who are weak and broken.

Up til now, I, for one have been like the man at the pool of Bethesda, thinking the angel of the Lord would come stir the waters indiscriminately and there would be nothing we could do to precipitate a move we so desperately needed. We simply had to wait. I believe now that I was wrong about that.

God is in process of restoring faith to His children. Faith in who we are in Him, in what he desires of us... holy and sanctified walks, understanding that we in no way can walk this way without a miracle within us, and trust that God will do exceedingly and abundantly above and beyond all that we ask or think.

The valley of dry bones is beginning to shake and God is waking up His sleeping giant. Men and women are beginning to see that the Christian walk was never meant to be a Sunday-go-to-meeting religion, but something that turned our own lives, and the lives of those around us, upside down.

As this spiritual hunger grows, this dissatisfaction with status quo religion, this desire for a true very real relationship with the Lord of the universe, for a walk where sin and the world and the desires of the flesh are defeated in our lives, what is coming into focus are the promises of God that we have made into plaques and sold in Christian bookstores, but simply put, never believed.

Examples?

God will not allow us to be tempted above that which we are able to stand, but will with the temptation make a way of escape....every time.

God will cause us to will and to do of His good pleasure.

Sin shall not have dominion over us.

The shield of faith shall qunench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

There is an increasing understanding of what God has told us from the very beginning but which our unbelief has hidden from our eyes.... that Jesus came to set us free indeed. For so long, we have spiritualized these promises to the point they are of no earthly good. No more. God is removing the vail from our eyes, our ears, our hearts, and men are beginning to see the glory of the new covenant is far superior to the letter of the law we all have been trying to do our best to fulfill.

It is an amazing time to be a Christian. God is waking up His people.

(Read Ezekiel 36 and 37 if you are so inclined, for they deal directly with what is beginning to happen now.)

Thank you Bruce i recognize you're in another organ in the body than me (couldn't really tell you which one, i'm in or you're in) . and not everything you say will be a bullseye for my particular calling . but that being said, i totally appreciate His work through you .

God will not allow us to be tempted above that which we are able to stand, but will with the temptation make a way of escape....every time.

Even more astonishing . it is not so much a route of escape in the carnal sense . but in that you will be given a way to stand up under the pressure . kinda like in Ephesians 6 where it says "having done all you can do to stand in the day of evil to then stand"

Btw bruce, do you think it hilarious that God is speaking to the mountains of Israel?

like today if we did that .. Behold as I speak to the Brick Walls of Toronto .. L.A. , New York .. Amsterdam, Singapore . Bangkok .. etc ..

but i understand the prophetic significance also . mountains speak of the big organizations in the world or a nation or corporation . just thought it funny .. you stubborn people! its like talking to a brick wall! LOL

But i get the sense something else is happening like the resurrection in Ezekiel 37 but its all about what's inside .

"eye has not seen nor ear heard what God has prepared for those who love Him"

thus .. some of what will transpire .. is not written .

Yes I believe there is a change, I believe that God is in a process right now of preparing His people. I believe (and this may be with some level of contest) that we are looking at the final stages of the last "hour", and that to some degree there is a level of persecution that will transcend simple pockets of the world to the entire world, i.e. the persecution of the Western Church in addition to those who are currently being persecuted. I believe that there will be a final push by God through His church as the age of the gentiles draws to a close, and right now in this season is a time of purging and equipping for those who are open to it. I believe that in tandem with this we are starting to enter into the great apostasy as outlined by Paul in 2 Thessalonians.

In essence I believe that soon we are going to see a dramatic contrast between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light, and God is preparing the hearts of His people for that coming kingdom conflict.

Although some people would argue that this kingdom conflict has always existed and is nothing new, it is not the reality of the conflict that will emerge, rather both the scale and intensity of this conflict will grow to proportions that we have not seen possibly since the time of the early church.

My belief of these matters stems not only on my own personal understanding of what is going on but it is how I see God work working redemptively in the scriptures, and so is consistent with the redemptive pattern set by God

Michael, even if we do not walk perfectly agreed, I can clearly see a good spirit within you and you have graciousness in your words. I do believe Ezekiel 36 and 37 are where we find ourselves in these times. We have no idea what the fullness of what God plans for us is, but we know one thing..the latter rain will be greater than the former and the bood of Acts was pretty impressive! LOL.

I agree with your words. The battle lines between light and darkness have been muddied since the book of Acts, haven't they? They are about to be clarified as they were when the early church arose.

Think about it. Ananias and Saphira lied to the Holy Ghost and let pride sway them. They sold a parcel of land, and kept a portion back, which was their right to do so, but they told all that they were giving all the proceeds to the church. Both died in the presence of the apostles for this lie.

Today, we would see half or more of our churches become graveyards if such a demand for purity was to come on us. Our lives have become a mixture of light and darkness and as the split you talk of happens, christians will run to the light and seek God for pure hearts. Men in the body who love the continued presence of darkness in their walks will open themselves to great deception to the point that they will believe they are doing the will of God to kill those who love light alone.

The bones of Ezekiel 37 are rattling.

Reading this thread with interest....I've been feeling for awhile now that something is definitely coming soon, some kind of change.

This message has been on my mind a lot recently...I think the time for it could be very near...by D. Wilkerson "The Redeemer Is Coming To Zion"

This was written back in the early 80's I think. I have a copy of it tucked in my Bible, it's been there for years now.

Also there has been something prophesied within the Catholic Church many years ago, about God giving mankind a Warning, an illumination of conscience and a time of choosing Him or not, before things start to wind up on this earth. It sounds like it could be similar to what Wilkerson wrote about.

Yes i agree, its a spiritual change and it is underway as we talk, many will see things and hear things, as Jesus calls all to Him in unitity as one real body. I love it and wait for the Lord to do what he does best.

This statement, up above, is so true. We are each a member of His own flesh and bone. "The same Lord/Spirit, different gifts"....

He has called me and drawn me to know Him as my Bridegroom. If I speak with someone who has not received this call, it's not that they are not a part of Him, it's just that each person fills a place in His heart AS HE CALLS according to His own good pleasure and will. It's good to know that we can listen to our brothers and sisters share how the Lord is moving in them even if it's NOT our particular calling from Jesus!

Thankyou Lord for how you've made each of us individuals to you, not carbon copies. Thankyou that each of us satisfies your longing for love in the unique way You have called and chosen.

^^IS there a way to be certain to be part of the good here in light?? Because some of us sheep are alone and neglected by less christian friendships see .. Can I then assuredly avoid being in the darkness because we all have gone thru horrendous trials as I have and was praying often for God's mercy or help?? Is it the best thing to ask for prayer that each true sheep make it? We all know there is a hell and do not want to get deceived to be there and need his promises too so much!..And assurances we can still be His sheep from then on yet. can there be any encouragements [I know I feel isolated from any way to view all that openly]. Many see are not real christians that ignore other's cries that are so obvious it seems to me.
