  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Last week one of our employees was killed in a terrible freak accident. We own a trucking company, and he was driving a tractor-trailor rig loaded with drill pipe, and he was unlocking the chain link gate to our yard. Apparently he hadn't set his brakes or they released...and his truck rolled down the incline pinning him to the gate and (hopefully) killing him instantly. He was found an hour later. He has a grown son I would like to request prayer for.
I know this man was not a Christian. It has really made me think about the fact that all our days are numbered by the Lord. He knows when the last day will be, and in most cases we don't. What's more we don't know when our friends, family, and aquaintances last day will be. I wish I had talked to him about Jesus. I now have that on my conscience. I hope that I will view life differently from now on, after this. I hope that everyone in my life, and everyone I meet will know of His love...from me....because there may not be "some other day" to tell someone of him. Please pray for his son, and pray that we will all be more sensitive to the uncertainty of tomorrow for ourselves or anyone else. Thank you in advance.

Hi Christi,
I too have learned the hard way that life can and will change in the blink of an eye, in the snap of a finger all of your security can be taken away. I am praying for his son, he needs it now more than he'll ever need it. God is there listening to each whisper well before we even whisper. Live your life as it was your last day and share your love with all whom you can. there is never such thing as doing too much, giving too much love, caring too much...life is precious and sacred and I am praying for and with you. Praying and Praising God for each and every breath of air that fills my lungs...God Bless you always...

Thank you all so much. Amie, I don't know your story...if you ever get a chance, email me, okay? I appreciate your prayers. I just wish I had done more than say "hello" to him, ya know? Well, I guess regrets about our yesterdays are no more useful than certainty of our tomorrows. Today is his funeral. Pray that I can find some words of comfort for his son. Thanks.
