  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So what does everyone have planned for the weekend? I'm going shopping in the city with my 2 friends tomorrow. We have to get soem slippers for dance and we decided to make a day of it. I might get the rest of my furniture into my appartment on Sunday too! *Yeah!*

My grandpa turned 80 on the 20th, so we're having a birthday party for him tomorrow. There will be four generations of my family represented...and I will get to see one cousin that I haven't seen in 7 years! And, there will be 7 of 11 great-grandkids present!!

I'll be taking LOTS of pictures tomorrow! We're having the party at my aunt's house - she has a pool, lives on a lake, and I'm bringing up my bouncehouse for the kids to enjoy, too. Should be plenty to do tomorrow!

Awww, poor mina, I'll be praying for you too.

I myself have a migrain today. Attempted to drug it away, btu it isnt' working. I've taken 3 Advil and Tylenol.
