Yes, it is not politically correct.Not a good idea only because it is apparently not politically correct. But was that generally known before this incident? No. So we are living in a country in which the extremists can forbid certain words as the occasion arises and everyone is supposed not only to speak as they have ordered but to know in advance which words are allowed or disallowed or have just been invented.
Fair enough. You consider it was always wrong. The Dems a few short years ago didn't. And where's the link, showing the date and time when society crossed the line where the word in question couldn't be used. We know the history of the using of the "N" word causing offence can be very well documented.
So demonstrate to us where the "L" word in question is out of bounds based on history. Or isn't the REAL TRUTH rather that Dems are simply making things up as they go along for mere political posturing? And do you not think The People won't see SEE the extreme hypocrisy of the Dems arguments? Double standards and lacking consistency and the list can go on and on?

We saw the left run off into hysterics when Trump referred to what he was being subjected to as a political "lynching".
It's being stated along the lines that nobody having any sensitivity would use that word in a political narrative due to the seriousness of what the real, physical thing it was in U.S. history. Problem is though they themselves among the Dems have used it numerous times when Bill Clinton was impeached.
How about Joe Biden when on CNN in October 1998 when he called Clinton's impeachment a "partisan lynching" ????
Or how about the Dem Jerrold Nadler who said three different times that Clinton's impeachment was carried out by a “lynch mob.” (Newsday on Sept. 13, 1998.)
And then there was Then-Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.), who served nearly 20 years in the House, who stated on Sept 12/98, (Baltimore Sun) about Clinton's impeachment,
“This feels today like we’re taking a step down the road to becoming a political lynch mob,” McDermott said at the time. “Find the rope, find the tree and ask a bunch of questions later.”
So why exactly is it that Dems jump off into hysterics over Trump who is using the term in a political sense when they themselves have condoned it's usage a few years prior? Why all the sudden the wild outrage being expressed? Not clearly a sign of one standard for the Dems and something else expected and demanded for others? You're either against the usage of the term or you're not. Which is it?

I don't know whats so confusing about this. Lynching was a form of torture and murder used primarily to punish and oppress African Americans. Using it in the political context is more than a little insensitive to the black community as it cheapens what was a bloody and vicious action.

By showing him saying offensive things? That's an incredible ability they have to control the president's own actions and words.The Democratic member and their minions in the media are attempting to make him look bad (see any of the left newscasts) as part of their partisan propaganda.
