Whoa now Windee, a person has the right to congregate anywhere they desire. Also, the SDA is NOT the truth. Once again as I pointed out earlier that the Word of God is the only truth there is in the entire Earth. Now, im not saying that the SDA do not have the truth. If people get discouraged from the SDA church, no need to worry, God will do something about it.

As you said ..were pretending.. Unfortunately sister, I would wish with all my heart that the SDA would have ALL the truth according to the bible. But I personally have heard and studied many things that many pastors here in america say that does not bode at all with scripture. (I will not be discussing the specific details on this thread.) Also, no one has the authority to change or ass nor subtract to the word of God.

Well, then, I don't understand what you're asking here... seriously are you just wondering what the stance of SDA's opinions on here are for people that reject the church?

Your point is? I know a person has a right to go where they like.

It is, within our right, to commit sin.

That doesn't make it right. I never said she couldn't go somewhere else. I'm just saying, that if the SDA churches stance officially was right, and she rejects it, then I'm not sure how God would react.

Whether or not the pastors are correct, I wouldn't know. But I have a feeling, that the SDA church is the closest church as a whole to the truth of God.

Illogical progression from your part: were are not discussing about willfully sinning or not.

Ok, I understand here that your still "pretending" if the SDA churches stance was still officially right?

I respect your opinion.

sis, you're free to worship wherever u want. but stop to think about why your doing it.

you keep puttin emphasis on the Sabbath, but it's not just about the Sabbath.

last night i finally went to my friends youth meeting cause he kept invitin me. i'm not goin back............u understand? i don't need to sit there listening to other lies.

it all seems fine when we all worship together but then when the preacher begins to speak......that's another story.

if your unsatisfied with the way your church is representing or worshiping Jesus Christ, then maybe you can change that, lead by example.

0.- its you who implied that I was saying she had no right to go wherever she wanted, and I never said that. So....

In this case, yes.

To me the issue is quite simple. God does not want you to do something you are not convinced of. If she cannot in good faith agree to our doctrine there is no reason for her to join our church.

If she continues to study and is eventually convinced, then she can always join in the future.

If she is not going to the Adventist church because the people there are jerks, well I can understand that, but it is still different than doctrinal disagreement.

If she is keeping the Sabbath in her home, I say that is good. Whether it is where she winds up, or a first step, time will tell.

I'm not so sure I would agree with you on this one Tall73 I think God wants us to do things that we are not convinced of. Think of athesist God wants them to turn to Him but they are not convinced.

I think we can prove through the scriptures that God wants us to keep the commandments of God but many aren't convinced that the 4th command should be kept. Just because we are not convinced does not mean that God doesn't want us to do something.

Okay, I'm officially confused. I have no idea what is going on <_> ah well.

I'll leave my two cents, if you don't agree with the church, then don't stick around- search for the truth. I think I've found the truth. But you may know more than me.

But, if the SDA church is the truth, then I don't know if you'll go to hell or not.
