  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a somewhat large collection of smilies that I don't use often because it's too much of a hassle to go all the way to photobucket ... and half a dozen other reasons why I don't ... but it got me to thinking it would be fun to have a thread just for smilies. If you have a collection it's easy to put them all onto one post to display your collection ... and if you just wanted to post one that's cool too ... it would also make it real easy for everyone to use them ... if you don't know how to use them it's real easy ... just

right click on the image. At the bottom of the menu that comes up is 'properties', click that. Midway down the box is the address (http://....) copy that. Then you can put that image anywhere by wrapping image tags around it. ([ img] [ /img]).
