  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Mark and I went to Sam's with Susan last summer. Alot of the stuff isn't much cheaper than the grocery store,some of it is. I could spend all day in the booze aisles.

I had my first paraeducator class today. I feel a bit stupid. I'm holding out for the behavior improvement course.
Some or most of my kids are slowly improving.(behaviorally) I can't ait until Ican start teahing them math and doing a few crafts. They don't have school on the 20th, 21st. We get them for 8-12 hours. (we're open for 12) I'm looking forward to it, actually. They behave better in the morning, and we'll have fewer kids in attendance.

The exercising is paying off. My waist is one inch smaller now. My stomach doesn't hang over my pants. It looks like I can hold off on the new wardrobe.

The way gas prices are, I usually drive about 5 miles to the closest grocery store and they are real good on their prices. The next closest grocery store is about 8 miles a little more expensive. Everything else is about 25 miles or more. Even the department stores are like 25 miles or more from me

LN, yes, I'm from Lake Charles. Well, they have SOME electricity and very little water pressure - no news on when we'll be able to go back. The water isn't suitable for drinking or cooking. . it's okay for bathing. . .but you'd have to be really careful to not get any in your mouth.

I'll take this silly shower with no water pressure and sometimes no hot water over that.

I gotta be honest...andi and I are thinking about staying here and moving to San Antonio permenant like...we like it hee...i already have a job...andi can transfer here...it's tempting...besides...my bother and I went to the Saints game at the Alamodome...and they actually won!...
