- in this scenario we are actually shaking ones foundation cause lets say somebody is a fervent sunday keeper, church goer, donator and whatsoever a great christian and we tell him or her about the 7th day, and he or she doesnt want to change their lifestyle, well, then they are rejecting truth and breaking the commandment, well, in the end it they would have been better off without our sharing the truth, (a sub-scenario would be that God is actually sending us to those people and no matter if they accept the 'truth' or not we are at least doing His will... no matter what the consequences may be

2. the light you received from God

- this scenario is in a way similar to the sub scenario presented above, but involves God's doing or the Holy Spirits doing. namely that they convince the person in question about the 'truth', in this scenario a person's responisbility and choice would be limited, since it would mean that without the Lord's conviction no one could believe any 'truth' and our work as such might be considered well, I dont know

as far as the gay gentleman is concerned, I dont think that it really matters if we tell them or not or if he is aware of what he is doing, or at least about God's point of view, one way or the other, I usually tend not to touch the homo subject...

as far as my statement is concerned, well, which statement are you talking about, I thought that I just asked a question, might be wrong about that, though

You and me think a like. I have had the very same thoughts until I finally settled in my mind that God's word is the seed that we need to plant. The problem is never the seed, but rather, the ground is the problem. It's our job to study to find the truth and share that truth in love. Our job is not to cultivate the ground. That's God's job. There is a blessing in knowing and loving God's truth. There is a blessing from God attached to obeying God in keeping the Sabbath holy. Anytime we open our lives to the will of God He is able to do a work in us that He wouldn't be able to do otherwise. God is, at this very moment, creating a holy people He can call His own. A royal priesthood that bears God's image and lives according to His will. In this, we will be a witness to God and for God in this present evil age. The context of this work of God includes the Ten Commandments. There is only one thing in this world that truly identifies a people of God and that is the Sabbath. Our love for one another is also at the top of the list but even the wicked and unbelieving have a love for their own. But what reason, in this dark world, would anyone have to keep the seventh day holy? We know why people keep the first day holy and we know why people keep the sixth day holy but why keep the seventh day holy?

God blessed, sanctified and called holy the seventh day. It was made for man. He protected it by Law. Jesus taught us how to keep it holy. Jesus is Lord of it. What shall we say to these things?

now as far as I am concerned, I am not convinced about it, even though I kept the Sabath for quite some time I got doubts lateron, and as of now am not certain about any day of worship...

I think you misunderstand what I mean. Truth is truth, whether you know it or not. But, can you be judge according to knowledge you do not know? I believe the answer is no. The Bible says God winks at our ignorance. What does that mean? It means if we do not know the truth about something God will not judge us as if we willfully do not do it. It is when we come into understanding of the truth that we are convicted to follow. At this point we either resist the truth or we submit. This is when it becomes sin.

I do not wish to make it seem as though I am questioning your love for God, but I cannot help but wonder why you are undecided as to what you believe. Either the Holy Spirit is convicting you to return to keeping the Sabbath or He is convicting you that it isn't necessary. Either way at some point you must stop straddling the fence and pick a side. Weigh the evidence and chose. If the Spirit is convicting you to return to keeping the Sabbath, then why resist? The same goes the other way, if the Spirit is convicting you that the Sabbath is no longer necessary to be kept, why is there any doubt? Settle it in your own mind and move on. Either you believe or you don't. Maybe that is a little harsh, but sometimes we all need to ask ourselves what do we know to be truth and am I following it?

The amount of evidence that we presented from the Bible to them was staggering in comparison to what they were refering to but yet they were not moved. Coupled with what we gave them scriptually, we also had historic record from the first century onward showing that the early Christians kept Sabbath up until and beyond when Constantine decreed it illegal to do so.

I guess my confusion/frustration/sadness is that how can someone that says they are all about following the truth when presented, can be so, almost stiff necked, when it is shown them?? I can only speak for myself and my wife but we had far less 'evidence' shown to us and immediately recognized it as the truth and moved forward in it...

How can people be so blinded by tradition and delusion and stubborness??

It is not our job to convert, but to sow seed. Keep them in prayer. God will move upon their hearts if they are genuine about wanting to do His will. You may not every know what good you've done until you see them agian in Heaven.

JM, ETE, and Stryder................ It's all about relationship and conviction on a personal level. ECR, your neighbors asked the questions, you gave them some answers, there your job ends besides living the life before them.....IOW the most effective witnessing. We get caught up in wanting to see the end result, and that might not be God's Will. He will bring them into all truth according to their relationship with Him(just as He does with each one of us), not the success ratio of our bible studies, Rev. Sems, etc.

I love you and I hope and pray that you truly listen to what I have to say. Traditions and doctrines are hard to break. Many do not want to believe that what they believe for years are incorrect or that their leaders have given them something false. Then people do not want to be different or put down as I have been by you and others in my church on this forum. Many do not want to actually research truth out but want things told to them with ease. It is hard to tell someone this is not right and be accused that you are interpreting things or making it up. I have studied hard and long all of my life and yes I left the church in my youth. However many things that were told to me I could not just accept it and it bugged me and I had to research it out completely. I truly want to be saved and to present to others what was shown to me by the Holy Spirit.

Look at Yashua and the hard work He had to do and many of His disciples left Him. We as SDA have put a bias shield that's hard to get through. We see with others churches how hard traditions are but we cannot see that the same problem is with us as well. We are a stiffnecked people and think we have everything presently we need to be saved. Isn't that what Rev 3:14-17 says and we all know that it applies to us but do we accept it?

I hope soon to set up seminars for SDA's to listen to the truth for these last days. But first, I must get well and take care of my mother. I think I have someone who will care for her as I travel but it takes money that I am praying for. My only way at this moment is to present what I've study to you and others on this forum. It has not been easy but I know that those who will allow the Holy Spirit to move in their life will hear the truth to the matter. Those who are call will be hear and obey and will study and ask questions to gain true knowledge of the Word of Elohim. I know that all will understand that there has been an attempt to change both the Feast days and all of Yahweh's laws and not just the Sabbath. Attempt means you try but fail and that's what the Papacy tried to do with all of Elohim's commandment. They attempted to change His laws but you cannot no one can.

Remember when you try to tell others truth others also try to present updated truth to you as well. It goes both ways and as you grow others will grow when we all truly seek the kingdom of Elohim and all will be added unto us by the Holy Spirit.

I have noticed that this happens when other truths are presented as well, not just the Sabbath.

So true it is not just about the Sabbath but all of Yahweh's universal law!

That is so true and we need to restudy the Rev. Sems. ourselves. There are many errors from believing what the pioneers believed that was incorrect. They came out of the first day churches and brought many of their tradititional thoughts with them. Revelation Seventeen explictly shows the Papacy riding the beast, this church can't be both. The beast is someone else, and we could not understand the Investigated Judgment if the Savior did not move into the Most Holy place on the Day of Atonement. That mean it was not nailed to the cross. Does Paul over ride Yahweh is Paul above Elohim?
The Bible clearly states that Yahweh told Moses these are "My Feast Days!" Lev 23: 1,2 Yet we can speak not to eat unclean flesh from the same book how come???? Where in the Bible does it state that the Passover supper was a Feast Day please show me because I have never read it? Now the battle of Armageddon is during the sixth vial and it is called the battle of Elohim Almighty and not the battle with the Son. When He comes He places both the beast and the false prophet in the lake of fire and the birds have a supper on his army. Rev 16:12-16; 19:12-21 We think that we have everything that we need for salvation and do not realize that we need eye salve so that our eyes might become open. It is not time for many to hear the message because the message bearer is not ready! Rev 3:14-17 Many who are in the church are tares and they must be weeded out as well by Elohim and then those triumphet will finish the work and all that have made up their mind will hear at the right time. We are standing at the door and within a few years things will happen in swift session. Be ready because we need to listen to the Holy Spirit and not man!
