What a beautiful testimony, and beautiful scripture. Thank you for sharing the hope that is in you!Wisteria said:I absolutely love the Psalms. I took a class on it during my first year of university, and the professor had such a passion for God. We really dived deep into the book. I wrote an exegesis on one of the psalms -- Psalm 34. The whole psalm is very good, but one of my favourite verses from it is verse 17, which reads, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles."
I remember one time a few months ago, I got some really bad news from my parents. After crying like crazy, I opened my Bible to the book of Psalms, and started reading from Psalm 23 onward. It was very calming and helped me. God was there for David and helped him through everything, and he was there for me, as well.
Psalms 113:1-3 KJV 1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
2 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
