  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Speaking of melodic rock, you've gotta check these guys out! Seven Places is definitely the real deal. Their new album, "Hear Us Say Jesus", is yummy!!

Their last album, "Lonely For The Last Time", was great, too...

now here's a band worth talking about.

I LOVE SP! Those guys really rocks and have great hearts for serving the Lord. It's sad that they won't be touring anymore though. At least they still have their recording contract, so we can hope for more CDs later.

"Hear Us Say Jesus" is a great album. My favorite tracks on it are "Holes in His Hands" and "Someday Go". It's awesome hearing Seth's wife singing with him on "Someday Go".

Whuh?!?!?!? Are you serious?? Why?!??! I never even got to see them play live...

What a cruel, cruel world this is...

Well, for a while some of the boardies on the Jeremy Camp forums were getting the info that the band was breaking up because Seth wanted to go back to Oregon and concentrate on being a youth pastor. Then, we found out that the band wasn't breaking up. They just aren't going to tour anymore. They still have a contract with BEC for 2 (or 3?) more albums, which Seth said he planned to make. SP isn't their main focus though at the moment. Seth and Tony are both doing ministry stuff at their church in Oregon, and Dave and Jeff are now members of Kutless.
