Dismantle, dismantle
The human-based temple
Which follows the world
And not our Lord’s example.
Remove all the idols
And serve only Jesus
Who died on that cross
So from our sins would free us.
Remember, remember
What His word now teaches
That we must die with Him
To sin and its reaches.
We must now obey Him
And follow His ways,
And live for His purpose
Throughout all our days.
And worship of Him
Is not just singing songs,
But living for Jesus,
For Him we now long.
In selfishness we must
No longer live daily,
Doing what pleases
Our natures a plenty.
Instead we should now
Choose to live for the Lord,
And do what He wills
With Him, all in accord.
Live now for Jesus,
In righteousness living,
While we sacrifice our lives,
To others giving.
