Scripture Suggestions for a problem

Don’t believe it. You are free. The truth will set you free. Read your Bible, that’s the truth. I feel like I’m in prison to sometimes. God hasn’t completely freed my mind yet either. So I have trouble and trials and an affliction that keeps me close to God. I don’t get what I want. But the song by mercy me I think, says even if you don’t my hearts with you alone. Such impact for me, and my joy returns.

But if you want to be free from believing a lie you have to work at it and believe the opposite. You could take thoughts captive as comes up here once in a while, as in 2Cor 10:3-5. Every time it comes up take it captive and it will fade and assert your new belief. It works. And your joy will return. Sometimes it’s our responsibility and God gives the tools. It’s like self talk works too, to make changes. He is a rewarded of those who diligently seek Him!

Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Here is a good start. God does not put believers to shame. What Does the Bible Say About Not Put To Shame?
Sometimes I struggle too with thinking I am missing out. Part of that in my case was sin. Isaiah 53 shows the difference between our works and shortcomings and what God expects. Another part in my life too was how everyone taught so much about faith and prosperity but they seem to forget that to move a mountain (an obstacle in our life) the faith has to come from God and to get that kind of faith and keep it one has to really be seeking the Lord. This is why we see all these confessions about problems, health or events yet not enough victory. Pentecostals call this praying something though. Merely confessing is not enough, you have to believe in your heart. I pray you can receive the breakthroughs that you need and have an assurance that God is no respecter of persons. That the word does work when you get it spoken to your heart and I pray that God ministers to you and shows you how to get things moving in His and yours, direction.

Numbers 23:
God is not a man, that He would lie,
Nor a son of man, that He would change His mind;
Has He said, and will He not do it?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Lying is a sign of weakness not a sign of infinite knowledge, power and ability. What is the point of an infinite being lying to a lesser being ? What does He fear from the lesser being? What did He not know but suddenly found out so that now He has to lie about something??
What did He promise that He finds himself too weak to make good on that promise?
What did He say that He is now embarrassed about and ashamed to admit that He ever said it - after having learned what He knows now?

"casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

Yes, He rewards us who seek Him.

Are you caring about others as yourself; or, are you isolating yourself by worrying about what is happening to you?

Make sure your forgiving is up to date.

Hi Benjamin.
Thank you for asking.
However, I am a bit confused as to what you are asking particularly.
You do recognize that God is to be praised for his goodness and love, so what do you mean when you say, "He delivers for everyone else but for myself"?
Is there a particular problem you would like God to deliver you from, but feel he has not done so, and does this make you feel that God is flawed in some way?
